Very funny, but it would have been even funnier if the two brothers had had Scottish accents! 😉

Oh, and...

I am aware that 50% of mchambin's Nuclear reactors across the English Channel (La Manche) are suffering from Pipe Corrosion.

Only the Scottish Windmills are looking effective. We'll discuss Scottish football tomorrow. 🙂
I am amazed to read this.
In Europe, electricy and gaz awful cost increases is mostly because of the insanity of windmills.
When there is no wind 3/4 of the time over Europe, electricity must come from coal, gas, fuel or nuclear the only carbon free energy.
I am amazed that engineers are not aware of this.

When there is no wind 3/4 of the time over Europe...

Scotland is the windiest country in Europe due to eastward moving Atlantic depressions that bring strong winds and clouds continuously throughout the year.

We might as well take advantage of that fact, and we increasingly are:

Onshore wind is Scotland’s main source of renewable energy. In 2020 about 70% of electricity generated in Scotland came from onshore wind.

Offshore wind is the third biggest source of electricity, after hydro.

Indeed, I am aware Scotland is gifted about offshore wind, unfortunately this is no so over Europe.
Nevertheless, where is Scotland electricity coming from when there is not enough wind ?
The main point is, there is no worthwhile way to store electricity.
So the installed wind power must be backed by that same power, by coal or gas for those who reject nuclear. This being the German plan pushed by Greenpeace and WWF. A plan which, they are aware, is a total failure they desperately try to hide but shows clearly since the troubles with Russia.

Nuclear energy is still generated in Scotland at Torness power station, but it is due for closure in 2028.

The Hunterston B nuclear power station has recently been shut down, but its planned 25 year operating life had already been extended by more than two decades.

The Scottish Government is currently opposed to building new nuclear stations, saying they represent poor value to consumers.

Instead, they bandy about phrases like "energy storage" and "carbon capture", which we both know are currently examples of wishful thinking!

There's plenty of oil and gas. Russia simply needs to be cut out of the loop. Once a new protocol is in place it'll be business as usual. But probably not cheaper.

The trial is over. Now jury is to give verdict. Jonny is winning. Amber have no evidence no nothing against depp it seems. Depp's team did a very good job. Amber submitted same photos with little tweaks as evidence to two different occassions. She will be very lucky if she get away with it. Australia and England are thinking about giving amber jail time for perjury. Whole episode was televised and people seems to like Jonny depp and he is getting offers. Amber is out of Aquaman (don't know for sure) but it's quite reasonable. Eye for eye. Jonny is almost 60 and I don't think he wil get any big franchise. Unless some grandpa superpower hero movie became a thing.🤪

Off Topic is compulsory in the Cosmology thread! Anything goes!

You have to be crazy to contemplate the Mysteries of the Universe!

For instance vishal is innerly contemplating the nature of Truth and False in matters Depp/Heard.

Or is it Heard/Depp? 🤣

Boolean Algebra. Set Theory. Maybe "All Cretans are Liars!" says a paradoxical Cretan.

We are in the business of looking at things in Creative ways. Making connections that everyone else has missed.

I mention clubs (and branes) in my comment

Quote: "Also, modern physics shows how Morg’s Law continues to subatomic levels of sharpness simply by using one’s branes."

Branes - very clever!

‘Morg’s Law’ states that since a sharpened rock can in turn become a chisel to make an even sharper rock, that the sharpness of hand-axes will increase exponentially over the span of tens of thousands of years.

I can only deal with one proposition at a time.

What on Earth is Morg's Law? 🙄

The rules can be expressed in English as:

  • The negation of a disjunction is the conjunction of the negations
  • The negation of a conjunction is the disjunction of the negations

Best guess is you are referring to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Augustus_De_Morgan

Happy to learn he was a light-blue like myself. Cambridge.
