Cogito ergo sum
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cogito_ergo_sum
I think Therefore I am..
I don't believe it..<<now there is the question..
The saying, "as dead as a door nail, if a door nail could be said to be dead.."
However if the door nail is dead does it exist or is it only in the eye of the beholder?
Then again would it have to have been alive to become dead?
I << think or do I think I think..😀
If a supreme being created existence is that true if the being already existed? (its the infinity problem again)
If the brain creates the mind, is the mind a projection of the brain or is it an illusion? (something that thinks its alive) think about it!

Reflection on the above...
When the mind stops thinking surly all that's left is the "I am"..
When you sit and stop the voice in your head and just be..
What would it mean for the brain to be alive and conscious without any sensory connection the outside world?
How terrible would it be?
A few minutes..hours..days..a lifetime..

Hawkins and Einstein can/could "link" ,and describe bits and pieces mathematically.
A form of matter that can observe (and form opinions) on other matter
is truly amazing.

I don't want to go into this..
How much is true ..you decide.
I find it Evil and perverse...I understand knowledge is a must have..however deep down in my call it what you will (soul)..it has a lasting effect. As I said the terror of being conscious just as a brain..
How much is true ..you decide.
Just a reference
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isolated_brain
The brains of many different organisms have been kept alive in-vitro for hours, or in some cases days. The central nervous system of invertebrate animals is often easily maintained as they need less oxygen and to a larger extent get their oxygen from CSF; for this reason their brains are more easily maintained without perfusion.[2] Mammalian brains on the other hand have a much lesser degree of survival without perfusion and an artificial blood perfusate is usually used.
Don't look here unless you really want to know..

What is true darkness, no access to the light.
The interesting part is that the article says:
Isolated biological "brains", grown from cultured neurons which were originally separated, have been developed. These are not the same thing as the brains of organisms, but they have been used to control some simple robotic systems.

An interesting question I have thought about for a while..
What is the difference between reality and the mind?
Here is another one..
What is the difference between good and evil and where do they reside?
ie do they exist beyond the mind?
All interesting questions..
Is it possible to say the universe is neutral and has no part to play in its own development?
One more, is the universe becoming something or becoming nothing?
Is reality a consequence of the mind, is it a stage for the mind or does any reality exist at all?

Just a thought,
prompted by the Bloodhound thread..
If space was infinite and I was moving towards a planet a 10,000 MPH then all the matter except me was removed from the universe so just infinity remained, would I still be moving?

How fast is fast, or how soon is now?
I keep coming across E=MCsquared, where I assume lights speed is a constant in space.
But is it? If light is bent by gravity, shouldn't it lose velocity with a course change?
Also, is there really such a thing as empty space? Latey, I've encountered descriptions of micro bubble foamy subspace. Would these collectively not have some kind of gravity field affecting lights momentum?
Possibly light can only swim through these at given wavelengths determined by its original energy levels.
And what could a photon see, if it could see?
Would it seem to be trapped as a bug in amber, forever in motion through an unchanging environment?
So could a photon imagine now, or then?
Hmmm.

An interesting question I have thought about for a while..
What is the difference between reality and the mind?
I read somewhere the posit that mind and reality are the same.
Just as a swirl in a river is the river when examined more closely, boundaries between "river" and an "swirl" are meaningless.
As for the sound of one hand clapping, that's been said to be a b*#ch slap.

You have some interesting points..
The question would be, if the mind and reality are the same..does the mind exist? Or is it an illusion or a reflection of something else?
micro bubble foamy subspace.<<discussed in string theory?
Do you have a link?
In that scenario wouldn't now and then be as you said earlier a swirl in a river? (When is Now)And what could a photon see, if it could see?

The motion bit..what is motion when taking place in infinity?

A stupid thought..
Reflection..
If time stops do you cease to exist?😕
Ie when you accelerate if time slows down what happens at the speed of light?
LOL something disappears at the speed of light and reappears when it slows down again..😀
MITsound..you pose an interesting idea, if as you say, "Just as a swirl in a river". Then it would seem like reality is the wave front and the mind is like a particle within it..ie is it a particle or a wave..is it reality or the mind. The mind would be " created out of the" ...universe which is the wave front its so obvious its stupid..

Linked to the above..
The universe bit is probably wrong because the universe is also a result of the wave front..
Humm..if reality and the mind are one what does that say about reality..
For fun..
That could mean there is nothing beyond reality because reality doesn't exist as such (we are part of it) its a reflection of something else..ie nothing beyond the universe as we would recognise it!😀 (perhaps a bit like a thought)<<whats outside of a thought when you are part of it?

So what would be true reality..
True reality would be whatever is creating it.. not another matrix..🙄
Its back to the projection..
This was rather annoying so I did a google and this came up..many have probably already read it!

No links per se- I still read books 🙂, but these ideas are discussed (does that mean tossed around with a spin?) in Michael Talbot's book, The Holographic Universe.

relative to the density of space it is.... otherwise light could not bend.I keep coming across E=MCsquared, where I assume lights speed is a constant in space.
