Yes it was. The camera can be fully automatic with flash, which came out dark. Or you can do a long time exposure without flash, or flash with an extended exposure to bring out the background too. That one comes out almost like daylight.

Got a Birthday card tonight which appealed to me. A familiar face...

Excellent. I may nip down the Post Office and get the Presentation set. I like this sort of thing. Last set I bought was famous aeroplanes. Spitfire, Lancaster Bomber, Mosquito, Gloster Meteor and Hawker Hunter.

11 is OK, but I have moved on. 67 today, mate. Seems a dull number?

NO! An extremely interesting number... :D

Stark–Heegner theorem - Wikipedia

The second largest number that admits to Unique Factorization:

These are known as the Heegner numbers.

D = − 3 , − 4 , − 7 , − 8 , − 11 , − 19 , − 43 , − 67 , − 163.

Hope that clears that up.

To celebrate, I have planted a Birthday tree since wild parties are currently illegal with the wretched Germ.

Sorbus Autumn Spire - Rowan Tree | Mail Order Trees

Doesn't look like much right now, but give it a few months. :)

As an avid Star Trek fan, I always noticed that when Kirk, Spock and the new male Ensign got beamed down to the Planet, the Ensign got snuffed within two minutes by the Monster. :D

Naturally Female Yeoman were more closely protected...

Interesting developments tonight.

"Fairy Liquid" is not only twice as good as other washing-up detergents. It's now three times as good!

Naturally I examined the small print from Proctor and Gambol, who are appointed by Her Majesty the Queen. We accept that one bottle of Original Fairy is as much good as two bottles (2X) of any other stuff. Whether it has an improved Scent is subjective. Certainly doesn't smell like a dead rat under the floorboards.

But the extraordinary breakthrough seems to be 3X faster cleaning in the new Platinum range. So far works for me. :D

Yeah...
Here's a waste of bandwidth and a mess up of the forum format just for you.
I've been de-sprucing my property, these where supposed to be a hedge planted way back, and never trimmed.
One of the trees refused to pay attention to petty details like gravity, was able to make a convincing argument by repeating blows of my sledge.

Those blighters don't half grow if you let them!

I was glad when my neighbour removed his spruce trees from the boundary between our two properties.

Overgrown spruces no longer obscure our patio from the late evening sun.

Living with nature is a balancing act.

"Balancing" - geddit? :D
