Hey, what is the Elfa catalogue doing in a bookshelf in Korea??
Do you understand swedish, or do you just look at the pictures? 🙂

Hi Christer
Hahaha... Mentally, I am half Korean and half Norwegian (or Scandinavian).
Yes, I understand Swedish and like reading pictures too.
Nei, nei, it is English version, which I got from Elfa in Oslo. 😉

Didn't know they had an english version, but they have spread to
a number of non-scandinavian countries recently so that is not
surprising. Do they deliver to Korea too?
What is your norwegian connection, if I may ask. Have you lived
there, or are you maybe a norwegian living in Korea?

I amazes me how small the world has become.jh6you said:Hahaha... Mentally, I am half Korean and half Norwegian (or Scandinavian).

I only just found this thread, OK ..... I'll play 🙂
I'm as messy as the rest of you.
PC - my only claim to fame is the monitor. SGI 17" TFT 1600x1024 at 0.21 dot pitch and not a dud pixel in sight. Cost a "bloody fortune" but one of the best things I have ever bought and it has survived a whole series of processor/machine upgrades
The rest is "pedestrian" - Athlon1.8 / 750MB / UWSCSII chain & so on - but hell, it is a whole lot faster than my brain .....

Hi Rodd
Yeah, it's a small world. 🙂
Christer
My name is Korean name. I was in Oslo 2000-2001. I am working for an international company and for international customers. 🙂
No, Elfa is not in Korea. Probably, there are already too many electronics suppliers in Korea.

The density of TFT screens in this thread is quite high, I doubt it is a good representation of the average diyaudio visitor 🙂

Brian ... from looking at your computer spot and you being a student, you certainly don't study much, do you? he he.
Here it is🙄
The desktops under the desk
The laptop travels with me- especially to the workshop when I'm "hands on".
On the right is the cable modem, and the router to supply other house computers, and the workshop of course🙂
Note the healthy glass of whisky😉 Which I've now finished😉

Actually, I am co-oping for a company this semester, so all of my books and stuff is put away for the semester. I am just taking a single 1 hr class this semester.

Dahaen, just finishing the glass of Makers Mark😀
My favorite is Knob Creek bourbon, but I went to the Maker's Mark factory last summer, and got to dip my own bottle in the wax to seal it. It was fun, but quite a long drive (it is in the middle of nowhere, kentucky). My girlfriend was interning for GE in Kentucky last summer, and I went to visit.

Here is the current state of my living room now, with my roommate finishing up his school projects, a usb/microcontroller/pc/mp3 based alarm clock, and a remote-control volume control (he has a pga2310 version, and is now working on the relay version). He is actually taking classes this semester...

Vince, but then I'd never find anything... Competition- spot how many gainclones are in that photo!
Brian, yes, I am sure there are many fine bourbons that we never see over here in the UK, just as you never see many single malts we take for granted here, in your neck of the woods!
I remember ( ish... ) being taken out by my lighting crew in Las Vegas once, and drinking many fine American bourbons and whiskeys, but I now can't remember any of them, but it was a cracking night out!😎
Amazing the things you remember at 3 am when you can't sleep!
