its the latest revision with water cooling, but its by no means quiet. It has fans that spins up when it working hard. I have some pics at home i can upload later with the cover off. I upgraded from a G4 867 Mhz single processor, its quite an upgrade. 🙂

They still get the job done, and will for a while... ruth has a 450 Cube, and jason is struggling along on a 460 MHz beige G3... we can't complain.
Bedsides that LuxoLamp is probably more suitable for the day-to-day stuff you do 🙂

I thought it was a mushroom. Actually, it does look like a luxo lamp doesn't it?
The luxolamp comes from one of Steve Jobs/Pixars early animated shorts -- Luxo Jr... all they did to make that iMac was morph the base into the screen and the light shade into the base. Much more elegant than the new iMac, but never sold as well... too radical for most people.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

My old 350 iMac and 450 iBook are still fine for 95% of what I do. The only problems I have are with running Photoshop/Lightwave with large images, but that just comes down to time, and that's a good excuse to go off and make a cup of tea. 😉

Mine is a suped up G3 450 with 768mb ram and a 6gig hard drive and a external 40gig Fire-Wire for backing up to and saving my stuff to. : O )
What is that on top of your monitor?
Paul
It's a grasshopper made from a clothes peg and 2 green pipe cleaners my 19 year old son made at school back when he was in grade 1.
And it's still there 13-1/2 years later 🙂
