Hi,
And since curiosity always gets the better of me....you'll likely keep me awake too.
But don't let that stop you...
Listened to an ADSL broadcast of a "The Darkness" concert recorded in Belgium this afternoon...
Recording was only so so but music was great.
Bring on the "Deutsche Welle" now, we're listening...😉
We could go on i think but this will uselessly fill this forum

I hope it is dead to the end! My ears got hematomas over the last time cause they where playing an old ressurected Nena song up and down the radio stations... 🙁

Here is a weird combo, but it's true:
Tom Waits
Beck
Listen with caution. True genius music like this will make you forget about your audio project nonsense.
PS: Hunter Thompson died today! "Right-O! I yelled"

AFA sound quality goes, Beck's 'Sea Change' album ranks among the best studio recordings I've ever heard (on CD).
For "genius music" you really can't better Capt Beefheart..

Hi!! For me there are four lps getting a regular airing on the old Garrard 301 at the moment:
Tim Buckley - Happy Sad
Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Colin Blunstone - One Year
Carole King - Tapestry
Just got a mint copy of Dusty in Memphis, so that can probably be added.

Did he mean a joint album or just that he likes the two separate artists (I thought it was the latter)?
Currently enjoying:

Neil Young - Harvest
Dire Straits - Making Movies
Cypruss Hill - Black Sunday

Ya mine is also!!!griff said:This may sound stupid but i would like to know what kind of music you guys are listening with all the kit you are making, i have a feeling that my taste in music is so far from what the majority here would listen to that the kit here would not suit me.
I listen to my records, cassettes and 8 track tapes mostly.....
Im currently trying to replace all my cassettes that have DOLBY NOISE REDUCTION with copies that dont have that crap as they sound better..... None of my 8 tracks have DOLBY and all sound super!! (I havent ever liked Dolby filters)
I like 70s and earlier music...... Rock and roll,country,etc.......... I LOVE 50s and 60s ROCK!!!!!!
Leonard Cohen, Waylon, Janis Ian, U2, Neil Young, Van Morrison, John Lennon, Beatles on Sunday, Taj Mahal, BB, Samantha Fish, Chicago Blues, Delta Blues, Dianne Krall, Nora Jones...this week
