There used to be quarks called 'truth' and 'beauty' but I suppose such concepts are meaningless to modern folk so they got renamed to the rather more boring 'top' and 'bottom'.

Those quantums sure love expensive stuff. All the best-sounding quantums gravitate to where the money is.

It may be more by accident that the specs that are affected by the quantum mechanism are better for silver than copper, and again better for gold than silver.
Due to that I have ordered a very low cost material that after my calculations should have 50% better specs in regard of the quantum mechanism than gold.
When the standard electrical specs and the specs that are affected by the quantum mechanism are taken into account and both specs are given the same weighting the very low cost material get the same total index as copper.
This may be a good evaluation of what matters most - the standard electrical specs or the specs that are affected by the quantum mechanism..
What is this 'quantum mechanism' of which you speak? I am aware of a few quantum effects, and I can look up others in the graduate-level textbooks I have. Which particular one are you referring to?

What, we are talking about digital signal transmission, from what you have posted I think you are mistaking it for analogue signal transmission.
How is the resistor quality gonna effect the signal?
What do you mean when you refer to cable length?
What sort of cable quality are we referring to?
RCA is NOT an impedance controlled connector, how can it be better than BNC?
Why no transformer, Ethernet gets by quite well with a transformer in the circuit and that's higher throughput than SPDIF.....

Quantum information is just a term identifying a method of abstraction to "black box" an aspect of physics much like electrical troubleshooting, but its obvious all the people talking out of the side of their mouth about quantum in marketing(which is not always hype but none here could tell the difference anyway) don't even grasp this basic concept.

There is no analogue cable and or digital cable if one is good at transmitting one kind of signal; it's good at transmitting another assuming its tailored for its bandwidth using similar methodology. I doubt if you tune things to make make them worse that it would be hard to tell the difference in quality of anything(Their own test setup is a cheat. Besides, getting everything right in 20 double blinds in a row is statistically very remote especially with a 60hz humm added). James Randi is a typical mainsteam mindlocked fool that is so ignorant of the world around him(there are so many more significant things he could expose but I think his grandest of all is reading archeological findings that jesus was not real which is very basic in understanding that all of mainstream television beats into you on a daily basis) that he directs his energy at what is easily provable and obvious to the ignorant masses. He is the kind of person which many in here are that gain some kind of sense of tribal and societal duty and comradery because he is a cynic that is unable to directly engage in those activities.
