Speaking of PBS specials, I recently watched the Chicago 55th Anniversary performance. Pretty damned fine performances from three members of the original band now well into their 70s. Too bad about the PBS “pledge” breaks and I found the audio quality to be less than a lot of YT videos - such as the Playing for Change series.Actually yearterday evening from national tv broadcast - Roberta Flack

Watched The Godfather last night. Probably one of the few times I have watched it in entirety and also not hacked up into the chronological Godfather Saga version. Quite an amazing movie, long but actually fast paced with an economical use of scenes.

I'm thinking about purchasing another annual subscription for access to the Criterion Channel. I let my subscription lapse a year or two ago, and they never bothered me about re-upping, which I appreciate.
Enjoying House of the Dragon, the ending of ep 7 quite good, the framing of that final shot was quite cool in its implication of power and confidence.
Finished all 3 season of Hacks, quite good.
