I did see an interesting documentary how the allied learnt about the extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau and why no measures were taken to bomb the facility.

Holy time warp, Bigun; that was 40yrs ago. Still stands out as one of the more organic authentic ensemble work to be found on broadcast TV.

LA’s Shango finds old broken TV’s that were thrown away 50+ years ago in a remote mining camp stream bed and gets them to work again. I believe he leases some of his restorations to Hollywood studios.
I remember as a kid, about 1962, sitting on the floor looking in the TV's back and the screen's reflection in a mirror. The repairman described color convergence to me as he fixed our set.

Just finished binging Apple TV+ “For All Mankind” . Not a documentary, and while some folks wanna critique it for terminal wokeness, I rather enjoyed it; I’m such a sucker for the “what if/ alternate history” take on events recent enough to be in my own, or parents’ lifetimes.

On commercials: sometimes I just don't buy a product because the TV-ad is mocking me and pictures people as stupid.
Watched a few documentaries on airline crashes on Discovery. The explanations what happened and how the crew tried everything to avoid a catastroph gets me triggered.
