Bob, there's more than a little kid in all of us
"Space" channel - Orphan Black - tour de force by Tatiana Maslany
There's certainly something about the freedom to weave a complicated story over time allowed by the "small screen" - of course it's not always done this well

That's what makes us lovely people, sometimes.

Our state-of-mind and life's aspirations are the path to our real-life destiny.
And films reflect that as well.

The last five flicks that I watched (all revisited, except #2 and #3) :::
1.
-2.
-3.
-4.
-5.
...And #1 and #4, in 3D. ...And all on Blu of course.

got a lotta spare time, Bob? 😉 - there's very few I wanna watch more than once - some it's even a struggle to endure at all - my latest disappointment being Prometheus - in the full 3D THX /sensurround information overload experience.
maybe I should give another try
meh, dunno 'bout that
anyone catching the latest incarnation of "Cosmos" with Neil degrasse Tyson? I'm enjoying the hell out of it - too bad about the commercials on the Nat Geo channel .

Oh yeah, I got time Chris, plenty of time; I'm in no rush in life, I follow my own peaceful rhythm. 🙂
'Prometheus' in 3D; me, personally, I like it, aplenty.

I stopped posting since April 2 in this thread here, because it feels quite lonely, generally. 😉
I watch a flick every night (sometimes two); like last night for example, I revisited this one ::
...Which I like.
But! It's much more fun in life to share with people; communicate dual ways, triple, quadruple, etc.
If I'm only talking to myself, might as well recall my own dreams from the previous night.
...And write them down in my own personal book of dreams and poetry.
If something you love in life, share it with others. 🙂 ...I guess most people aren't that enthusiastic in watching stuff on their 'tubes'.
* By the way, anyone here saw the flick 'Frozen', the animated film from Disney? ...On Blu-ray it shines! ...And the story is alright.
** Chris, another great flick to revisit is that one based on a true Canadian story ::
...Which I revisited recently, on Blu of course.
And 'Chicago' (Diamond Edition), and 'Odd Thomas'.

Hey, Bob, I'm still around ... 😀 !
... 'cept, I've largely tuned out of movies and such, for quite some time now - something has to grab me, really grab me - usually by accident - I don't watch something just as a thing to do ... 😉
I'm getting a buzz from the Resurrection mini series at the moment - hopefully they do an intelligent resolution, dumb endings because the writers didn't know where to go are a pain, 😉.
Cheers,

Hi Frank, sorry for the long delay; I am trying to reinvent myself, with new world destinations and new projects.
It's good to search for new incentives, and to perfect the ones we more or less previously abandoned, somehow.

These guys are outrageous! 😀

Last night I revisited 'Gran Torino' with Clint Eastwood.

for those not afraid to slum it on small screen productions, coming soon Season 2 "Orphan Black" - if Tatiana doesn't add an Emmy to her brag wall for this work, something's messed up
and, hey GOT #4 has some pretty interesting turns already - "thanks, I'll pass on the pie"

Good flick but the filmmaker's Highland Park looks like Beverly Hills compared to the real thing. They had to paint their own police cars because HP hasn't had a police department for decades.
Highland Park police and fire department headquarters. The empty lot on the left was City Hall.:

Inside the firehouse:

Interesting profile Bob. Just found Die Antwoord myself. Most amazing thing I've heard since...
