I think that after every sip.
I've learned how to vomit while I pee a 1/2 gal of brewskies.
Efficient time management, leaves more for thinking.
I'm craving a bit of Absinthe. Problem is I'm too cheap to order from Europe(Jade C.F. Berger 63 pounds plus shipping) and have it courier delivered, and am not to fond of American brands.
Nothing clandestine is available locally any more.

Gimp,
Take a glass of Sambuca or Ouzo, water it down, close your eyes, plug your nose, drink it quickly and after a few, the thought of needing Absithe will be behind you. 😀

The Absinthes I've tried didn't contain any aniseed and thus did not turn milky when adding water like Pastis, Sambuca or Rake do.
This is a good thing since aniseed makes me wretch. I actually like the taste but even the smallest amount just does not want to stay down.

Major Tragedy, the owners of my favourite lager "Bluetongue" have closed the brewery down 🙁 ...& Dan Murphy's doesn't stock 'Tui" beer anymore 😡....
re Vodka - it turns out that the two that I like the most are quite affordable
Sobieski (Polish / Rye) and Luksusowa (Polish / Potato) - silkier finish than the Russian standard for sure

I think that on a very hot, late afternoon, nothing is better than Pernod and water -- it does sneak up on you. It's the one thing i purchase in the duty-free on the way back since it's much cheaper than state-side.
Dark Horse Brewing Co. Crooked Tree IPA...this is the season when the Double Crooked Tree (double the hops and ABV 12%) can be found - looking but so far not landed!
rum and coke has become my favorite drink. I never drink cola normally, but with rum is so good and I shouldnt say but addictive!
