BTW - when you shorten the inductor wire, scrape off the clear coating, clean with emery and resolder for the new connection.
um yeah i did get a 2.7, i thought that being so close that i would have to alter it less and would have better chance of being near 2.5
is this a problem, should i just unwind it 3 or 4 rounds?
oh and btw i got 3 5 watt resistors, a 2.7, a 3.3 and a 4.7(should have been 3.7 but they got it wrong and i didnt check)
Okay and as for the box i will design my own, possible curved sides...maybe curved front, see how i go.

Michael, please read carefully..........it's not 2.5mH, it's 0.25mH - zero point two five.
I'll say it again - 0.25mH, note where the decimal point is. Otherwise you'll have no mids.
Take the 2.7mH back and get a 0.33mH and unwind 2 rows.

ohhhhh, damn im thick, could i unwrap mine till i get 0.25?
just worked it out and that 2.7 would cross at 470Hz
maybe i should just take it back, yep ill do that, ill have the chance to drop in tomorrow after work.
whooopsie
