@harrylime6 it's called "start conversation". If you hover over a member's name it should appear as a button below.
Got it!@harrylime6 it's called "start conversation". If you hover over a member's name it should appear as a button below.
Thank you
Click on member's icon, click on drop down at 'Start Conversation'. Confusing as PMS are now termed 'Conversations'.
New-speak is "Conversation".How does one send a PM to another member these days?
Hover or click on the user's avatar/name. A pop-up gives info about the member, and a "Start Conversation" button.
And/or Pano's instruction (particularly when the member is not in sight).
Don't like the new presentation as much as the old. Can provision to jump to the last post in a given thread be added like in the previous site? Also, can't figure out how to delete private messages.
The last post works, but it was reset.. so each thread has to play catch up.
Envelope, show all conversations.. you can select them with a checkbox and attend to them at the bottom of the screen.

I dunno, I'm seeing some threads where I have read all posts recently and it still takes me to the first post. It's like if it doesn't see new unread posts, it doesn't know where to go.it was reset.. so each thread has to play catch up.
I am forming the opinion that the "go to last unread" thing is not working consistently / correctly. Need specifics if possible.
Perhaps this is unrelated to the unread posts settings. Maybe it is the feeds settings?if it doesn't see new unread posts
Can we have the page jumping gizmo at the top of the page aswell as the bottom? Like we used to
Hi, Folks In any forum in the old system, one could click on Replies to have all the threads within that forum sorted by the number of replies. For myself, this was an extremely useful tool. Is it possible to sort forum threads in the same manner in the new system? Any suggestions as to how this might be accomplished will be appreciated. Many thanks -Edward
