I was just interested whether measurements played a role in the shootout. Pure curiosity on my part.
Is it possible to secure the assistance of an agent who would receive a pallet shipment to North America and split it to the various destinations?
Anybody near a port on the East Coast?
The WH4 has my interest.
Im in Florida but Im 2 hours from a port.
What is the status of the group buy??
Hello,
I received a pair a iwata yesturday,i gave them a try with radian 950 pb and they sound very well.
I still wonder if i will go for some tad 4001 or stay with the radian... tuff dilemma.
But for those who esitate you can go for them, it's nice product.

Can we count on some measurements with Radian 950PB? There is an alternative to TAD - diaphragm for 950PB:
Truextent - Advanced Acoustic Technology
Without doubt TAD is cleaner than typical 3" VC Titanium compression driver (D1500-Ti):

I received my horns recently. I can put together some photos and comments related these if that should be necessary. Looking back at this thread it looks that some of the original posts were edited(perhaps deleted, unless I am really blind and just realizing this) as I offered to be a carrier and at first jzagaja and a few other members were keen to the idea. There has been some inactivity in the thread so I took it upon myself to order some horns and have them delivered. I believe I can act as a carrier if you all should like this idea. As I mentioned before I can also meet with some individuals if that should be more convenient. Remember the Golden rule Grasshopper.
Cheers,

You received horns from this group buy?
I didnt know they are being shipped, updates one what is being shipped and what isn't would really help us out.
We are on making E-OSWG-15. What other sizes are welcome? OSWG-12, E-OSWG-10?
jzagaja, is this tied into the thread on AVS?
Can we count on some measurements with Radian 950PB?
Hello,
Sorry no, i gave them back to the owenr, but i did pick a pair of 4001 😀
So if someone has a good tutorial for measurement i can give them a shot
Regards
Anthony
Larger amount of horns can be shipped only to companies in US or CA - custom duties $60-$100. Waveguides like OS or horns like JMLC-1000 directly but Polish Post charges ca. $100 (air) or $60 (sea).
doug20 - I'm collecting opinions from both forums. I will prepare super ellipse mod soon - SEOS-15. So we have for now:
SEOS-15-9050-R3R13
SEOS-15-9060-R3R13
which means 15" super elliptical OS waveguide, 90x50 coverage, roundover R3 and R13 (vertical and horizontal in cm)

I am the guy on that other forum that started talking about the SEOS, so I am obviously on board for those. I would have settled for EOS but I think that SEOS should be better in most every way.
Thanks Jack. At first blush, doesn't look much different but upon closer examination it does look to be a bigger "scoop". I think in the case of 90x50 where vertical << horizontal a slightly larger n (say n = 4) might be beneficial. I am not trying to create more work for you, I am impressed on how fast you were able to do this.
jzagaja,
Could you talk to Auto-Tech and recommend that they set up a paypal account. It seems payment options for waveguides is very, very limited. I believe we need the security of paypal to ensure everyone is happy.

Autotech uses PayPal 🙂 Remember that Paypal charges both parties and it is difficult in Poland to setup PayPal in USD. There's always exchange. After special request theoretically they can attach Visa in USD. For us better charge in Zlotys (PLN). Do you have such a currency in your PayPal account?

When I send money in Paypal, I can request the funds to be PLN - Polish Zlotych.
I sent you a PM.

The prices seem to be much higher at the autotech site than the prices discussed earlier in this thread. 170 for iwata 300 in the thread is up to 265.00 on the autotech site. Are prices each or per pair?

You've said that before, but they didn't let me pay by PayPal when I paid for mine.
