Wanted! single-ended 807 schematic

Found a nice little 10w output tranny digging in my work shop Friday, Got my gears going to make a single 807 amp for my jukebox, It's built in amp was "misplaced" a few years back.

Thanks!

Take a look at Alex Kitic's RH807. I am in the middle of a rebuild with 6L6GC, only change I would advice is to use a stabilised voltage for g2 since his solution is adviced against in one of the tube manufacturer's literature. His RH84 is well regarded and has been built multiple times.

Depending on your listening preferences you may want to use either a 12AT7 or 12AX7 as driver.

Thanks guys!

Love the RH807, one Q, will my speco T-7010's be ok for OPT's?

specs are as follows.

70 volt, 10w

4 and 8 ohm out's

the 10w input is 500ohm

That sounds like a line matching transformer, which for 2 main reasons isn't suitable for a SE OPT for an 807

- not gapped for DC

- 500 ohm impedance on primary is too low, even if you derate to 5W and load the 4 ohm tap with 8 ohms.

Cheers,

michael

PS maybe a 6080 parafeed circuit could use this transformer
