If by "disc" you mean CD, I would suggest that you contact the VAG first before you go. A friend went to the gallery with some CDs expecting to play them at the installation. He was told that only vinyl and reel to reel tapes are being played on the system. In time, this may change, who knows? But, give the VAG a call before attending to discover what's up would be my advice.Im an hour up the road...ill have to bring a disc to play!
Well spotted, billshurv. I agree, a rather attractive diffuser. Wouldn't mind seeing it unobscured by the speakers though.I like the diffuser design behind the turntable. Not sure how well it works as a diffuser but looks nice.
This link will take you to the Vancouver is Awsome blog where, if you scroll down ever so slightly, you'll find a better photo of the diffuser ...

Nice, I remember when I first read the article about KleinHorns
Any idea which amplifier did he use? A Beast with a thousand jfets would be appropriate here
P.s. "we are the robots" just reminded me on a Kraftwerk concert I was in February this year. They are true living legends!

Yes I brought some records!
Vinyl Playlist:
Devin Townsend - Storm
Behemoth - The Nephilim Rising
EST Trio - A Picture Of Doris Travelling With Boris
Pretty good fullrange performance for the space. The room is large and there are limited watts though. The listening distance wasn't that far so you are close to the horn mouth. Don't want to taint your review so looking forward to your impressions. Hopefully you can link or post the article here. It's pretty cool to see those setup for display.

I still love the diffusors! Thanks for the photo's and listening impression (on your own thread) mlee. Looking forward to reading what Mitch is going to write about it!
It certainly is awe inspiring to look at! A very cool idea to exhibit a stereo system like this as it does deserve to be regarded as a piece of art.

@mlee - cool!! Thank you for sharing your impressions! Like you and @wesayso indicate, amazing that these are on exhibit as works of art. Quite the idea. I have reached out to the artist requesting an interview. I will share the link once I have a writeup.
Really excited to see/hear these!

I'm sure you will - and right now possibly the only place in the world where someone can hear in a public place a unique and unforgettable sonic experience.
This is the kind of thing that really inspires - enjoy it for me.
The exhibit blew my mind! I hope you enjoy the article:
