Did changing and matching the capacitors make a sure upgrade?

I see some bass loss no matter if I use 0.1uF or 1uF or 10uF coupling to second stage.
1.5dB less gain also. And we don't know the coils DCR parasitics yet? Or we do so I can add them? Check, did I screw something up or I used some wrong value?

Changes just a very little due to DCR. It must be the inherent curve what we see. If I terminate with 600 you need 100uF coupling for decent bass extension... See, choose, do...

How it drives with so little bias current so to charge the internal capacitors for decent slew rate, or what the tolerances will be, or what those undulations and bass thing do, let your ears say and you tell us back.;)

In compensation network, what matching is important? Exact matching per component, exact relations between any specific components or exact matching between stereo pairs?

Maybe 1% MKP is a good start for later wider excursions after good burn in? Russkies can be heck of a long, nearly endless change of behaviour, at least in speaker filter use is my experience.

Predominantly values, secondary is matching of the 15n treble caps between stereo.
People that just used 1% MKP without further elaboration reported well. The 15n exact value can be trimmed to preference also (+tolerance or + Mica).
Nailing the gain near enough between channels is more difficult, depends on the μ of the input tubes sections, 6SN7s make a part too, takes some swapping & scoping.

Neskor, here is one addition I could make to the network by means of a series resistor at the source stage. It makes the bass come up again, although the EQ is still wavy as a total transfer. Anyway I think it could be a trimmer because sim to life should differ as various tubes do with each other also. Since the original maker was talking light bass too in that thread, its a nice option to have the trimmer I guess.
