My DAC board was not designed with the York modules in mind, but it wasn't too difficult to hook up with some cat5 cable. Before anyone mentions it: yes, it looks awful. 🙂

Hello everyone.
Yesterday I connected York without a reclocking board.
Windows detected the device without any problems.
In the York configurator I installed 8 ch 4xi2s output
When installing data with 32, a problem with sound distortion arose when trying to play 192 Hz sound.
This is expected since the USB 2 bandwidth may be low.
Sound at 96 Hz and below is no problem.
But I have another problem.
I use the jriver player.
The player sees the York device only via the wasapi or direct Sound protocol.
When trying to play multichannel sound, the player only plays a stereo stream
And the player cannot take control of the audio stream (DSP)
When using a device from diyink multichannel, there was no such problem, but the diyink device was displayed in jriver as an ASIO device. The question is, can this be fixed in future firmware?

As far as i know, York driver doesn't support asio or multichannel yet. I guess ecilpsevl is working on those features in near future

That is strange. I will double check, 192kHz should work fine.
I have used ASIO4ALL, it works with York. Can you please try it?

@eclipsevl , in post #27, you mention a 0.575mm difference between the York's mounting dimensions and the Amanero Combo384 and that this was not intentional. Does new production use the dimensions given in post #27, or have you changed things to better align with the Amanero?

Sorry for such delay. It is fixed now, please update.
Because it was already designed in by some customers, I decided not to change that.
Even though there is ~0.5mm difference, the module fits well into same socket and the difference is hadly noticeable.
For instance, here is anamero sitting in York socket:
@eclipsevl There is a small bug with the config tool interface, you can leave it unfixed, no problem. When setting both input and output modes, the master clock setting for the input is cut off by a line, I think you can put it on the same line as the output

1. New firmware version 4.12 - fixes TDM 8 channel input mode
2. New config tool
Fixed the issue of accessing HID devices on latest MacOS.
One of the customers was very kind to create a signed .dmg package for MacOS. So now it is much easier to install and run the tool on MacOS.
He also added an icon to the package which now also added to the Windows version:
