Forget Amanero.
Singxer F1 is better but a cheap Chinese DDC called UAC1 is the best I have tried so far and I tried many. It has FIFO function and NDK clocks but can only do up to 24/192.

Radian: looks good from outside, but there nobody knows what is inside. Also, good sound is subjective...you need to elaborate.
In any case, i just ordered a JLsound unit, which seems decent at least and hopefully more than that.

I would also leave a link to thread of my USB transport York 🙂
Hello DiyAudio community,
TL;DR: This is a USB transport for audio output (up to 8ch) and input (2ch for now) and user device control (e.g., DSP management) from PC (MacOS/Linux/Windows) thru I2C/GPIO. Including bootloader for remote firmware update, flexible device configuration, HID interface, multiple audio output options, integration with SigmaStudio (simultanious audio playback and ADAU DSP configuration). Compact module available in USB-C and USB-B versions, isolated or non-isolated.
Latest docs, config tool, link to buy:

The Ali thing is abble of 96 K hz Fs max...
I2S can actually make a difference. E.g. if timings (setup and hold times) between I2S signals are not as DAC expects there will be "dropouts" or no sound at all. Another possible cause for audible differences is noise carried over to DAC via I2S connection.
