HI
I updated my changer 😉
CHIP:
DAC: 192KHZ ---64X --- WM7816
OPAMP: 55MHZ ----LME49720
CAP:
1- ELNA Silmic II 6 pic (filter DAC)
2- WIMA MKP 1 pic (by pass Op amp)
3- WIMA MKS 1 pic (AVcc)
4- SANYO OSCON 1 pic (DVcc)
5- NICHICON 1 pic (Avcc)
6- Panasonic FM 2 pic (filter opamp)
7- ceramic COG 1 pic (by pass Op amp)
If you have any idea please help me 🙂
thanks .

Hi
I decided that after 1 month LME49720 OpAmp after dac with 2 x OPA627 I replaced.
The result was amazing.
Thanks.

hi
After various tests Avp op Amp to (I/v) after dac...
I came to the conclusion that opa2604 is the best selection for this point.
Distance and silence the noise components and shows dark and deep ...
627 At this point the little voice was cold and dull but for the output stage is good.
tanks.

I also own a cha 634 and I like your mods.
But I wonder perhaps you can tell me where I can make a connection for a digital out, so I can connect a optic out connector?

Datasheet of your used dac WM8716 http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1812058.pdf
I wonder if its interesting to replace the dac if I want to use SPDIF out.
Wish to use this spdif connector http://www.farnell.com/cad/1708371.pdf
Hopefully someone can tell me where to find to make the connection on the printboard?

Hi
I think what you need for your SPDIF
It is not important to signal the internal D/A
CD optical lens RF(signal) with a buffer strengthen and use ...
Note that the volume control is not !!!
thanks

Do you have an idea what pin of the D/A chip can be used to make optical connector out?
I want to connect this to the alpine pxa H701 that has optical in...
Volume control will be done with the pxa H701 sound procesor, this will be done through Ai-net canbus system. So its software controlled from the headunit volume controll button.

hi
OK
WM8716 chip serial input port.
You should look for RF signals on optical lens driver chip ... if any have RF ...
Some chips have no outlet RF ...
lenz Optics driver must check the data sheet ....
thanks

searching for optical lens driver, Found this chip 2157FN, is this it?
if right, datasheet TA2157FN datasheet(2/14 Pages) TOSHIBA | Digital Servo Head Amp for CD System
I see pin 22 => RFO
THanks

Or is it this one BA5985FM
Datasheet wich i could find http://radiocom.dn.ua/image/data/pdf/BA5985FM_ROHM.pdf

hi
pin 22 is ok
you are lucky 🙂
this chip have AGC ( Automatic Gain Control )
Maybe you can use pin 19 ...For the signal gain is adjusted this pin
test pin 22 and 19 whit osicloscop...For a stronger signal.
Good luck
thanks.

Wanted to try to scope, but now I got this error1 message..
It keeps on ejecting the cd magazine.....
I thought lets keep the printboard hanging loose, but later on I saw the shift pottential sensor. So I placed everything back as it should, but still error 1, Not sure what to do....

I think it lost his initial starting point of where the magazine must be accepted or something. But have no idea how to get it back to its orignal starting point.
I found a service manual of the 620, much looks the same, file:///C:/Users/Glaser/Downloads/alpine_chm-s620_sm.pdf
Maybe someone has the cha s634 service manual??

mechanical part is similar, ALPINE CHM-S620 SM Service Manual free download, schematics, eeprom, repair info for electronics
ALPINE CHA-S634 - Service Manual Immediate Download
Last one need to pay for it, hopefully someone has a free download.
But looking at the 620, i notice that there are special alignment tools, wich I do not have.

Someone an idea whats going on?
I'm wondering if the level indicator is working proberly. This is VR101 that indicate wich cd level to play. But have no idea what level should have how many ohm?

hi
I think you loss time control of magazine !!!
when I open main board I suction solder of volume control of time mechanism and not open 2 screw on volume time control ...
if you open 2 Screw on volume ( liner) on mechanism ... adjustment very hard and Sensitive...
thanks
