Q-How about not using di box in connecting laptop to audio mixer what about using mini jack to two trs? Is it possible?

Little confusion...he does not want to use DI box. It should not be done as you will get noise as the unbalanced signal grounds one of the pins of the balanced input.

Poster1- This is correct, however as long as the cable run is under 15m you will generally not have noise issues.

What I wanted to know is...
In case of a short cable can unbalanced cable be connected to balanced input and have clean sound.

One side of the balanced input will need to be connected to ground and the other input to hot or signal. Yes it will work.
