I've a pair on order but it'll be a while before I get the drivers and make a cabinet for it.... I'll post here onec the project is completed.
The 12cm drivers start from around Yen 100,000 each, frequency response is around 40 to 20KHz. The 16cm drivers start from around Yen 122,000 each , frequency response 30 to 20KHz..
The most interesting aspect of the Exact drivers is the dual voice coils and EI controls... AFAIK the EI control will extend the bass and provide electro-mechanical braking for the drivers..

Has any one used Audio Narvana 10" fullrange drivers (from Common Sence Audio) in any applications. I am using them at the moment in a 1 cubic foot vented cabinets, I know it is to small but they still sound awsome but lacking low bass.
I have developed a spiral horn from the origional sea shell and it looks exactly like the loggo "soongsc" is using but it is still in AutoCAD form and need to comunicate with soongsc before i build it.

Actually my design is not a spiral horn. It's a back loaded horn with a chamber sized like a bass reflex. The horn direction is to help excite some room modes to compensate for the loss of base of the 3" driver. Driver location is selected to minimize edge diffraction effect to give it better focus. Baffel step compensation circuit is in the lower part which is a stand.

I will wait for feed back on the Audio Narvana's but in the meantime Nanook & Soongsc I will post my drawing later in the week in PDF format and if any one of you would like to share your designs, I would appreciate it.
Soongsc, I am a grafic kind of a person and might need a few diagrams to under stand your explanation better.

If you look at my avatar, the right hand side is sort of like a shallow cylinder, the left hand side is the horn.

Looks nice!🙂

I had considered a design like that, but did not find a way to minimize baffle edge diffraction effects with that speaker location.

I see that you have listened and compared many full range speakers.

Because some time ago I became an owner of a pair of previously unused Goodmans Axiette drivers, I'd like to read your opinions of them.
How did it perform?
What are the pros and cons?
What kind of enclosure and/or amplifier setup would you suggest?

Kuei Yang Wang hasn't been an active member since July last year - since he went over to the dark side 🙂)🙂🙂) creating and marketing high-end audio designs.
