Hello, a quick update on the PCB, I just received a message from the PCB manufacturer and they are running a bit late so PCB will be shipped on 23rd rather than 19th as promised.

WARNING:
There is a mistake within the BOM for the primary supply board.
The listed 16VA transfo secondary voltage is incorrect. Correct ref calls for either a 2x8V or 2x9V (instead of the 2x6V).
I have removed the link and will update the BOM tomorrow (not home today).

The B.O.M. for the main power supply board has been updated to rev 1.1 (transfo change)

I made a tuto last week end about how to solder smd on the first page of the UGS muse subject on HCFR.
Not in English unfortunately but I can help translating if needed. Photos are self explanatory anyway.

Thank you and much appreciated. I intned to find a project somewhere with some smd parts and then just learn by practising. 😉 only way to do it really!
Nothing really hard if you have the right soldering equipment. Especially the TI LDO with thermal pads, they really need using a hot air soldering station.
I recently bought a cheap hot air soldering station off of ebay. No real idea how to use it yet, but it's a start 🙂

If you have received an MP with tracking info on the HCFR forum, you are among the lucky few but don't worry if yours has not shipped yet.
Status is avail on the GB excel spreadheet.
I proceed in the order of the list (at least for those I received an address for) and packing takes time (and I don't have much avail).
Also, do not rush ordering the parts and wait for a newest BOM (to come) as there are few parts with values that have been modified.
