I just received the missing parts for the F5 on Thursday. I needed to return the 24PC power resistors 0.47R (MILLS) because Mr Pass wrote if we use multiple power mosfet is good to increase the Source resistor value .It will give some stability to the amp . Now I received those resistors to .
I have to each 4PC board .You know I want to build a high power X F5.
Each chanel I go with 6pair Toshiba power mosfet with out cascode .
I have a power transformer 2x18VAC 1.5KVA I want it to use it for these project .
I already received the parts for the UGS also , I will use PRP resistors , BC550C /560C for cascode .
I have some Toshiba 2SJ74BL/2SK170BL . I will have to each the PC board for that to .
It will be a chalange because double sided .
Thank for the advise about the pumpkin preamp .I don't know much about.
I only want a great balanced preamp .
I will have 3 balanced preamp , Aleph 1.7 , Borbely and the UGS . I hope one or two will be after my taste .
I also want to finish some of my project and enjoy the music ..
For a last project I want to build a Lampizator DAC sometimes at the summer .

your Xd F5 sounds interesting, so many mosfets for each channel, wow!
I will try first ZenMods "reduced F4" with pumpkin, because it can be driven balanced what was not possible with the original F4!
I add the circuit. I want to get an impression of the F4 sound. 6 Mosfets per channel also.

But now I stick with the F5 X .
I will see how it work out .

don't use that bastarded F4 schematic of that pooftah ZM , he was probably weed high when he drew that ......
seriously - when I posted that , I was probably too deep in night ..... if I remember correctly - boyz promptly reacted (few posts later) , saying that LM431 will be fried .....
just forget that schematic ...... I'm sometime even dumber than usual ......
edit: you can still use another iteration I drew - F4 without JFet input buffer , just because
is potent enough

F5 unbalanced, F4 unbalanced, my loudspeakers have 4 Ohm so Xing seems not to be a good possibility. Any advice? Deep in the night?😱

I'm glad yo didn't ....... even if that way you skipped good opportunity to learn why .......
OK - even if this is sorta off topic here ( look at me - blasphemy - confessing off topic 😀 ) ther eis easy and powerful solution - look at pic - "bufferless" F4 .
make 2 of these , connect one per Pumpkin side , and you'll have Ballanced bufferless
& F4 SUSY comboyou can ommit Pumpkin output caps too , you don't need them this way .
to skimp a little with heatsinks - make each half with just 50W dissipation (instead of 80W ) , so you'll get 100W of dissipation per channel ..... and that's pretty bearable .
do not worry - 3 mosfet pairs per side are pretty able to drive 2 ohms
meaning - late in the night , brain already in red ....... hehehe

I tried home made PC board but because it s a double sided not the best quality . I tried a couple board , these one is the best but still not good enough .

I'm serious to build these preamp ,you can see I started to populate the PS board .
In case if I don't get help I have to use prototype board .
I do not like it , I'd rather use a professional made PC boards but what can I do now . I purchased the exotic resistors for the preamp part . I have to finish it .
