Does it look better now? 😀

anyone bashing that speaker should have his wax taken out from his ears first 🙂
heard that speaker many times at various hifi shows
amazing design, amazing sound
based on kef's best small coax, sound is very coherent up on top, followed by nice midbass and four subwoofers, two on top, two on bottom
not much to criticize, excellent design
silvery look is personal taste, but rounded cabinet is almost free of diffraction,
that's what matter
wish I built something like that
would not mind the lady

I don't say it sounds bad (never heared it so i can't judge), but it looks very bad in that metallic lining. If they made this in black or wood it would look a lot better.

And knowing Kef from other speakers, it's probally sounding rather good. But that is not the point of this tread. It's about the looks.

KEF Muon is $225k! Yikes.

I agree that a smooth rounded aluminum body would be very low diffraction. The imaging is probably hard to beat. What kind of step response does it have I wonder?

The photo with its designer is not quite as nice as one with the model. 🙂

I am getting confused, is that also the 22 year old model who is driving the Jaguar?

Oon
The woman in question has just strolled out of her favorite place in Monaco towards her parked car...

Any questions?...style, allure...perfection?

This thread has quickly digressed from ugliest speaker to beautiful women and cars. Not surprising as one is less fun to talk about or to look at.

But as we are talking cars, I had the pleasure in my youth to own one of the most beautiful Pinninfarina designed cars that was not a Ferrari. The MGB GT. Here is one in BRG...

Digress from the original intent, I think not, it is one and the same.
Consider this giant Wilson aesthetic disaster...putting aside the color and shape for the moment, consider the exposed drivers. Does one ponder the phase plugs artistic value? Do observers actually ponder the drivers surround?..."Oooo,...love how they did that foam half-roll, I've always loved the looks of that!".
No, no more than the kids with their car boom-box embossed cones & fancy, stupid surrounds they come up with.....juvenile in many ways, amateur in style and artistic abilities.
