Keep it away from the walls and it will be fine. What about an ugly car and ugly speaker combo?

Am I the only one who thinks this looks like something Jeremy Clarkson would drive on a Top Gear special?
> abalone shell composite would do as part of a speaker cone
Early accordion amplifiers used a "mother of pearl" finish, taken from the kitchen chairs I grew up on.

Oon, thanks for the idea.
I was thinking it would be really cool to make an inset logo in the wood where the writing was with that composite.
Would think covering the whole front baffle with that stuff might be a little bit "much", think this is one of the areas where "Less is more". Small details and such = Thumbsup!

Not so extravagants.I do not get it. It's a beautiful speaker.
Can you please post speakers you built?

That's easy to look at, for my eyes. The carpet is nice too. Only the mattress on stands takes some time to get used to 😉

Cop suspension, cop engine, cop brakes, cop tires, what's not to love? 😉
I've actually seen that car cruising around Chicago, big horn and all. It's stored somewhere on the Near West Side of Chicago, a few blocks west of Halsted. I forget which street, but I think it's Madison. They park it outside during the day while they're working in the shop.
The woman in question has just strolled out of her favorite place in Monaco towards her parked car...
And some adept at 3D modelling turned her into a speaker! "Sins" indeed!

I don't know if there's more than one car. It looks pretty authentic. It wouldn't be hard to copy either.
The movie was filmed here. The iconic chase scenes under the El were filmed about a mile away from where I saw the car. And it's been on TV a few times too, including in an advertisement.
I didn't see John Belushi driving it. 😛 It was probably about ten years ago that I saw it parked at a nondescript shop, many times over the course of months.
Here's what I'd really like to see live in person.
BLUES BROTHERS - Clip: Triple Rock Baptist Church (The Old Landmark) - YouTube
