I don't know, and don't put faith in the military or media as far as UFO stuff.
For all I know, it could be a form of propoganda, perhaps population control, or entertainment, whatever.
Just like I don't believe everything I read or see on the internet.
All I know for certain is something I saw with my own eyes one night, and for me that's a factual, real thing, not about what someone says or posts.
And I certainly cannot deny to myself what my own eyes see.

Fact is the aliens are here and they're 'us'. You may be familiar with that TV commercial about Ozempic and that tune they use to make sure it sticks in your head? Really pisses me off. Not just that one but any manipulative advert akin to that chemical odor banned from stores used to entice you but mostly children to buy the candy. Same principal, exactly. Well there it is and I start hurling expletives and all of a sudden, a big solid yellow dot appears obscuring that guy's face in the ad.

It’s a good and healthy thing to question and wonder.
I am a lifelong amateur astronomer and you can see what I do for a living from my signature. In my decades of professional aviation, something like 20k hours of flying, I have seen bolides, weather balloons test aircraft, and spacecraft. Many of my hours have been spent at night and additionally in the desert southwest in the troposphere. At that altitude you are above ~50% of the atmosphere, allowing you to see things that simply cannot be seen for the ground. Additionally, most military pilots (even if they fly heavy transports) only have a fraction of what a career airline pilot has in flight time.
You name it, I have flown with every type of guy that has come out of the military: flight test, spy plane, astronaut, and just the plain old squadron guys. We fly along or near all of those test ranges in the West, including R-4808N.
So, with that said, I am the very first person on your side with these thoughts: I look
for anything in the atmosphere that is unexplainable. Unfortunately.........they are all perfectly explainable. Maybe not at first, but they do eventually become understood.
Again, I’m with you, but these wizened eyes have nothing to report.

I investigated this subject over many years starting around 2003. There is a large body of evidence that many of these observations are real and not the result of overactive imaginations of witnesses. Many of the witnesses have very high credibility, even including American astronauts.
The problem most people have with this subject are two fold:
1. It would seem to violate the laws of physics if the witness descriptions of how they act is correct, i.e. g forces exceeding 100g while seemingly under control by their inhabitants. The physics violations would also seem to extend to General Relativity as far as the craft arriving from other solar systems.
2. There is a huge human emotional predisposition to assume that we as a species are at the top of the heap. This emotional predisposition is separate from the intellectual acknowledgement that we might be behind other species in the universe. But like all conditioning it mostly is unconscious to the individuals that are conditioned about what to accept and what not to accept. It is the exact same thing as people conditioned from a young age to be racist. Few of those people believe they have racist tendencies.
Between those two ideas, scientifically and sociologically based, we just are not likely to believe that UFOs can exist that are coming from other interstellar locations. I've thought and worked on this idea from the physics point of view for over 15 years now. Rather than make up things from whole cloth I've worked backwards from known observations from credible witnesses to see what would have to change in physics to allow those observations to be real. I've sought to make them coexist with existing physical laws.
Without blowing my own horn more than is necessary here are two publications from 2005. The first is a presentation to STAIF in 2005 but it is behind a paywall from the AIP organization. The second is an interview I did with Tim Ventura at American Antigravity. It was done in 2005 also but is mistakenly credited to 2011. So here are links to the abstract and the interview:

Well, yesterday afternoon while I was relaxing on the deck I saw a UFO. It was roundish and dark and appear to be moving slowly but then all of a sudden it shot over to the right at the kind of acceleration that makes no sense to any physics that I know. I continue to watch it and there’s no sound associated with it or any pulsating lights. After a while I noticed it slowly drifting. The weird thing is that every time I move my eyes this dark blob would also move. If I tried looking at it, it would move away. There were no other witnesses to this spectacle but whatever it is no craft made by man is able to move through the atmosphere like that.
