Is the TR-91 a stepup transformer?I'm listening to this one right now. My daily driver since 2014.

Looks like stepup to me. I think the label LHS is probably saying 50/200 Ohms, the RHS to a grid, HI-Z. And an internal shield. A Mike to line transformer maybe?🙂
Yes, it's wired for maximum voltage gain. It's a microphone transformer. Is the TR-91 a stepup transformer?

Hammond 800 Series Broadcast Quality
This was the Hammond 800 Series in Year 2000, quite a bit fewer than in the 50s & 60s.The H808 is similar to the Newcomb TR-91.
I've got an H806 in my pile. But apps for that one are very limited.🙂

Looking for other examples ?
Thank you. At the moment I am exploring my options with either a two way setup using a high-Gm penthode like 12HL7, C3G or a three way "antique" setup. The driver will load a 10K interstage (BW>48KHz) and couple into the 50, loaded by a Tango XE-20S.
Another option is the semiconductor route. Probably Ale's board is a good candidate for squeezing out driver stage distortion.
