Two way PA horn speaker from Pearl

LOL was thinking something similar.

But Pearl changed to that logo in the early 1970's
and the angled trim and grill cloth colors is same as
most the early " Vorg" series amplifiers.

Vorg went into the 80's but early 70's examples would
have that style edge bevels and 3D style grill cover with tan cloth.

Here we go. After reviewing all REW settings and calibration etc. the initial setup of REW was the culprit. I installed an upgrade of REW first and then took measurements right away, so that mistake resulted in a misleading great looking graph.

Graph explanation: the two upper graphs were taken at 25cm/10" from the tweeter, on tweeter height. The two lower graphs were taken from the listening position, one speaker at a time. The middle green graph was taken in stereo mode from the listening position. At the moment, I don't feel like taking measurements in a better position, it won't matter much.

Conclusion: not very impressive, but I still enjoy the sound of the speakers 🤣 although they are not perfectly placed in front of a glass window.

Lesson learned: when something is too good to be true, it probably isn't (end of story) 😏

In reality it looks like many other 2 way systems
crossed around 3k with 1st order.

Sure my Dads old pioneers with cone tweets didnt
measure much better.

Funny how we can enjoy sound, and rough looking
measurements. Can be ok.

Old Dynaco A25 probably not much different.
But people still fell in love and got goosebumps
from their favorite songs.

Heck dad had Stereo sound Super 8mm movies
and with those old pioneers. We were watching
Star Wars and Wizard of Oz with pretty amazing
sound on a big silver screen. Right in the living room

I am a fullrange fan. There is some charm with drivers directly connected to the amp.

I once heard Rhedeko speakers with a Hiraga class a amp. Sounded great. Later I bought a smaller Rhedeko RK115 but with standard amp. It did not sound as good.

Today I guess there are big differences between amps. Has the Hiraga some sort of current drive??
