Don't sell yourself short, it was a good estimate. It will take around 8dB at 3kHz, and rsmex will discover the wanted set of practicalities in use over time.

OK, you won't be surprised when I tell you that such testing lies outwith my frame of reference.

According to post #14, rsmex has more knowledge about the topic than I have.

And there was I with the temerity to tutor him about crossovers!

I appreciate any advice I can read all the information going but to really get it I need to do it practically as long as the tweeters have got a bit of protection so I can start taking measurements pretty sure in the long run I'll be safe without protection thanks
