maybe I'm so tired with heavy working right before holiday??
(everyone says before holiday! before holiday! how about you?)
Unless you've got a tube that can switch at 600khz or more, then I don't think there's much point.
Re: Re: Tube Output Full digital Amplifier
That is easy..
Tubes are used for Transmitter for AM/FM/Ham or GHz Radars.
Don't you remember old TVs had many tubes inside?
They were working for TV frequency.
Anyway just a tired businessman's daydream😉

Tubes in Class-D
Almost exactly a year ago. A fun idea, tho not very practical. You might want to read thru it. It's worth a try, if for nothing more than the fun factor.

IIRC, Norman Crowhurst wrote about this in the early '60s. It may be worth poking around to see if you can find his papers. They may have been reprinted in Audio Amateur.
You can see Sullivan's patent on an all tube amp. It includes a schematic.

Oh I did not search because I posted as reply on "Forum for issues related to the design of Class D amplifiers" then moved by moderator to new thread.
