This is the one i use for my laptop at my home

also a small switching power supply 2 A 12 volts 110 ~ 220 volts input

The PCB i put online, a alps blue potmeter, ( about 60 RMb here ) i put a big 22000 uF cap over the power input
and selector switch for 3 inputs.

this one my GF calls the " zhou bidze " Pigs Nose....

i must admit, there is some resemblance haha
:clown:

I like the input selector switch to make it a complete integrated amplifier.

any chance of ordering 4 sets from you? (I sent you a private email but without the input selector switch), but now I am very interested with 3 way input selector.

im getting a new backside, the connectors are not positioned nicely. the speaker connectors are too close to the side.

also the VU meters will be 1mm deeper and get a shiny edge around them

Amps

Hi there,

This amp can be equipped with TA2020 or TA2024, witch ever you prefer

the price indication is around 120 Euro, i hope i can get that price down, but it depends on quantity and my negotiation skill in Chinese ;-)

for that you get a fully finished amp with 3 channels input valve pre-amp, MKIII board and 3.5A SMPS powersupply inside.

i hope it will be done around 2 weeks from now.

Greetings!

Hello Arjen, I've bought your MKII TA2020 and it's the best amp i've got now, really nice sound!! The reference was a Gradiente 4.1 mini system with LM3886, and a Yamaha receiver, but your amp is much better, more open and the the highs, mid and low are much more detailed. Of course, i'm not talking about power, but I hardly need to pass 40-50% my volume.

Can you describe the difference of the sound using or not the valve preamp??
I'll be watching your ebay for new things =D

Thanks in advance!

Whelibob,

Yes, i do not sell kits, just fully finished boards.

Zigis, i use a double triode 12AU7 valve for this, the amp was designed for me by a friend that used to design for Siemens ( 20 KW FM transmitters, enz )

Its more a Valve Buffer, it does not amplify, it changes the sound so that it has that tube warmth and smoothness, making the TA amps sound like a valve amp.

the plate voltage is made with a cascade and a NE555 IC, very simple, no noise and a band with or 253 KHZ at -3DB, so, plenty!
the NE555 works at around 40-50 KHZ switching frequency.

the plate voltage is around 40 volts, more than enough since i don't want gain!

the tube board only needs 12 volts, the NE555 works off of that.

Greetings!

Arjen,

You should ad a remote with source selecting, volume control and a mute switch, and you'd have the ultimate t-amp on your hands.
I'd buy one instantly.
Btw. Your modded topping amp is very good, I can't thank you enough for it.

cheers:

Arjen,

This Little Beauty Sounds Great!....Thank You!....And that's on a 13.5v 1.8A PS...I'm getting a 14V 4A for it, and was wondering how many Watts it will put out cleanly with that PS? I'm running it into 6" RS 40-1285D Full Range Speakers rated at 14 Watts/ch..So, I'm cutting it a Bit Close...With the 1.8A PS, it Red Lights at 11:00 and is Mighty Loud and getting Better before it goes into Protect...I just don't want to use the 4A Supply and Fry the Radio Shacks...
