Ciao Marco,
mine too was light in the bass at the beginning, but after a 48h burning- in it achieved the 90% of its sound capability.
I got a great improvement in terms of warmness and soundstage when I swapped the original power supply for a 7ah sealed lead battery. IMHO a must to try.-
I have also shielded the coils with copper as on Mardis' site, but I'm not able to tell of a difference.
Now I would replace the pot with the TKD 2CP601, maybe one of the best 16mm. pot on the market: could some one suggest me where to buy it? Thel Audio is the only european seller I know, but it's a lot expensive.
I would also replace the Sanyo caps with Panasonic Fm, but I am worry after reading that mids could suffer from this mod. In my opinion recessed mids is the main weakness of the Ta10. I could even prefer the Trends to my triode power amps, if somehow I get better mids (presence).
Excuse me too for my awful English.

Give the obbligato's a try, It helps the mids a lot! Warmer , fuller and more upfront.... I also found that the trends had slightly recessed mids compared to my dads 300B PP amps.

I'm using 2.0 Uf... The difference is quite big...

The bennics sound thin compared, a bit to much high's --- very analytical and boring with jazz and acoustic music.

Obbligatoos have more bass, a pronounced full seductive mid-end and lovely smooth highs. More depth in the soundstage and also more dynamic somehow ( can leave volume lower)
There's not as much listener fatique, they don't shout.

Comes much closer to the real tube sound I like so much. ( I grew up listening to my dads Audion 300B PP monoblocks)
