Hi all,
I'm currently building an audio power amp. I'm wondering about the minimal distance I should consider between two transformers.
I'm going to use two R-core transfomers, one is 2x30V/300VA, the other is 2x12V/30VA. Should I expect problems if the two are too close to each other? Is this a non-issue?
Thanks!

I have 2 torroidal 120VA, 18-0-18v transformers about 10cm apart in my Gainclone power amp. I have no issues with sound quality, dc hum or heat.
Just ensure you do not create a shortening turn when mounting the transformers. Haver a look here for more info Transformers Part 2 - Beginners' Guide to Electronics

10cm is a lot of free space. 🙂
See this picture of Lite DAC-60, I didn't think this DAC had any issues when I heard it.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
I was more talking about like 1 cm.
In the picture above, transformers (which seem to be r-core too) are very close to each other.
Are there any definite rules about that?
