It was the first iteration of many with 30mm long track. Now it is very short. I don't have a company email so unable to raise an issue on ti forum.
Ah so no company email required to sell you 1000 pieces but when it comes to support on that purchase, a company email suddenly required. Got it.

I'm not mocking you, rather I consider it rather poor business practice to take your money (kerching! thanks a lot!) and then leave you without support.
At the very least they should issue you a clear warning when you make a purchase without a 'valid company email' that you'll be denied direct support on their forum.

I don't think they have left me without support. I am unable to connect to them is the issue. I cannot blame unless i talk to them directly.
Please show me a closeup photo of your cleanest SMT soldering job - before explosion and rework. I still think it is due to solder bridges or leftover solder blobs (little balls) that are causing shorts. Apart from a major layout error, or faulty capacitor, it has to be the cause.
Can you be so sure when the amp was working for two weeks straight for 6 hour minimum a day, that the cause of the problem be a short?

I had some issue with pcb manufacturing i guess. i tried different pcb vendor and now i have not found any issues with ic's. Works well now.
Yes, PCB can be a potential problem, it happen to me too (but my fault; long timea ago); my case was not damaging to anything because I spotted the faults in time. The etching leave some residue and in between very close traces were either small shorts (almost invisible with naked eyes) or resistance (worse, because can cause impossible/unpredictable problems...). Solved and never used too old FeCl3 again...
