hi
i am looking forward to buy this module TPA3116D2 but another version ... this one has tone controls but it has no inductor capacitor network at the output ... so is it safe to use anyway? as far as i know most class D amplifier will have the inductor capacitor network at the output ... thanks

EDIT: Apparently there are some filterless designs out there, but not as efficient, nor as high fidelity or EMI friendly cos you'll have a load of junk on the output.

Actually the linearity could be higher without inductors (the junk is out of band and has no affect on the sound, just on EMI - filterless designs have to be carefully designed to avoid too much RF emissions, normally restricted to products where the speakers are built-in).
ok about the Rf emissions and interference how if i cover and shield the amplifier module with aluminium sheet / unetched PCB board and ground the sheet? will it help that way? thanks

It'll radiate out of your speaker wires like a RF antenna...so shield the speaker wires and wrap your speaker in tin foil as well 😉
...Or put a filter on the amp output.

ok thanks for opinion ... i would be better off spending a little more buying a unit with RF filter rather than run into funny problems in the latter time ... fortunately i havent place the order on the amplifier module yet
