Btw, cracking noise is for regular Sure3116, I haven't tried (or heard about) the JAB 3116/8 versions and that noise.
Ah ok. I read somewhere that it isn't as bassy? Is this true? Hope not as I like how punchy the yj 3116 is.
And I also read to change the caps on it to oscon caps
I don't understand why, what does it do to help?

Sure3116 sounds dynamic, YJ3116 asthmatic in comparison. YJ3116 doesn't sound like 3116, but you don't have YJ3116.
Standard Sure3116 has about 30uF in ceramic capacity decoupling, influence on output from bulk electrolytics is much smaller than with other ampboards. Mobile playtime reduction for "high" leakage Oscons might be more important for you than anything else they could do ?
Sorry I don't quite understand, It's all new to me. brought 6 oscons anyway. I've read on multiple forums it helps with sq. What do you mean by mobile play time reduction? Do you mean the battery will be drained faster? Sorry
Nope, i'd choosen 2x EEHZA1V271P for the next board.

They will literally last forever.
The OS_CON SVPK do less ripple current at nearly the same price. From the measurements, bulk capacitor brand/type/capacitance isn't a show stopper if they're somewhat low ESR with 100uF per side. No need to spend extra dollars here. 😀
The choosen EEHZA1V271P is just the best i can actually get for a reasonable price. No snakeoil whatsoever. The leak current also is much lower than for organic caps.
I.e. The 35SVPK330M 330uF 35V leaks 2.3mA after 2 minutes, while the EEHZA1V271P does only 0.01*CV = 0.01 * 270uF * 35V = 0.095mA. That's a huge difference when running from battery.
Damn. Well what would the difference be compared to the original caps and new ones I just brought?
Plus I will only be running at 12v - 24v max. If that makes a difference

The same, a little higher at first and dropping towards the difference in datasheet. At first Oscon leakage is much much higher than datasheet value, browse the web for measurements/tests.
Oh ok,
Do you know how much more current it will draw?
It wouldn't be that dramatic will it? I've got leds & a led controller plus Bluetooth receiver, so I guess I'm not too worried about battery life. Quality over quantity (hours) 😉
As long as I get a couple hours I'm happy 🙂

You have a switch for the mute pads? You ordered ampboard with worst crack/pop on market trying to better a ampboard that has little pop in comparison. What tweeter will you use ?
Yes I have switch I can use, inconvenience but I'll use it.
pht 407n it's a half boominator
What tpa amp would you recommend?

Interesting, I was at cat378 for simple 2way home speaker crossing lowish, could look at PA alternatives.
Sure board is good and you can more easily fix things than on YJ. But start by listening and ignoring the crack or just use a switch. I don't know crossover, tweet will be around 12 ohm I guess for outputfilter frequency normally, if it needs improvement you can change Sure components in output or add a zobel.
