Thanks for the update. I will try to calculate the amount for everybody in Europe.
Please note that we will have to pay 20% import VAT, about 2.5% customs duty and £8 Royal Mail handling fee...
All that assuming that the package will be send to me from outside Europe, am I correct?

Correct. Sent from Hong Kong.
Patrick
Ok, so to calculate all this I need to know what would be the declared value of the package.
Please note that there is no import VAT for gifts up to £39 and other goods up to £15. No customs duty for anything under £135.
We always declare value of goods as per your Paypal payment.
The Paypal payment will serve as proof of value for Customs.

Ok. How much would be the postage from Hong Kong to the UK?
EUVL you can send two shipments to UK if the total value is more than the amount they dont pay taxes (but i think will be much less)
The total cost of the European subscription is 7380 HKD, or approx.670 GBP.
Sent as one, registered postage is on us.
For any additional package we have to charge 60HKD per package, to cover labour costs for the extra packing, labelling, Customs declaration, etc.
But this is NOT what we want to do anyhow, as we previously agreed.
Suggest you look for somewhere else in the EU where they charge less, e.g. NL or DE.

So all together will be about 830 GBP plus my shipping costs.
No idea about taxes in other countries, but it would make sense to use a place with lower VAT if possible...

VAT is the same in the EU. So the 20% is fixed anyhow.
The only difference is your 2.5% Customs duty.
Not worth the trouble IMHO.

Ok, in that case I will split 830 GBP proportionally for everyone in EU, add some estimated shipping costs and that should be it...

Is it so when you import goods from outside? Because Countries have different local VAT from 16 (but i think 19 is minimum now) to 25%.
Geez, these little things are more expensive than I thought.
Someone within EU is interested in 4-6 type 0 and 4-6 type 1?

If you make them from aluminium extrusion they will cost 10 cents each.
But minimum quantity 1 tonne per type, plus tooling cost, plus cutting and anodising.
So how many million pieces would you order ?
If you can find someone in the EU willing to make them from CNC wire cut for this price, please let me know.
We're lucky that someone reliable would want to do them at all.
We are not responsible for EU VAT, etc.
But then it is nothing new and you know too well upfront.
Anyway there is unlikely to be a next time.
Cheers,
Patrick
