Hi everyone
I grabbed an old DVD player I had lying around and hooked it all together on my workbench, slipped in an audio CD and hit play. Success! It’s always nice when everything works first time but this was almost too easy.
Next step will be to assemble some regulator boards and put it all together in a proper case so I can do some living room listening tests. But that will have to wait a week or so. I’ll post a listening report when I have a chance.

I began drilling and cutting the enclosure today and have one more piece of feedback to share. Standard size M3 brass standoffs and screws will contact the ground plane - tightening removed enough pcb lacquer to create a short from pcb ground to the chassis. Its signal ground so hardly the end of the world but does have the potential to create unwanted return paths. My solution and recommendation to other builders is to use nylon standoffs to eliminate any potential issues.
