Yes, but what the teachers said and the wording/sentence build in the books did not leave much room for interpretation.
Ooohh, I bet every country has a little bit of that going on, perhaps some more than others but still...
Canada has its share.
maybe best to leave it on DST year around.
I have to wholeheartedly disagree. It's simple:
It's not right to have 'high noon' happen at 1 pm.
I liked it the way it was before we just 'sprung ahead'.. I'd much prefer more daylight starting earlier in the am over the daylight lasting well into the pm, which will increase more and more as we approach the Summer. Just my preference etc.

Works for me. My house was built that way. Sun grazes the sidewalls at 1pm. We can use the solar heat much of the summer. Here in the woods, the sun is below the trees most of the winter, despite much cutting, so no matter.
its 4.20
The above cannot be true,
I heard the song Its Five O clock somewhere ? Good old Jimmy.
so that must be true also.
Now lets carry on with this stupid post and talk about whether Easter day is in fact on Easter Day and does it start at Midnight or 1 am. or possibly 23.00.?
Or should Donald Trump decide. LOL. Apparantly he understands these things because of his Grandfather. I am convinced.
It is always 4:20 where I am.
Don't know why...

It just seems to mess with your inner clock
So move to Arizona or Hawaii and you won't have that problem.

We can thank the U.S. of A that they worked hard to influence other countries to follow their decision on incorporating this horrible time adjustment scheme.
I've signed lots of protests against this over the years.
As a curiousity I can mention that some insurance companies are also interested in stopping this time adjustment thing, since there are more accidents the following mondays...
Your life must be pretty good if this is your major complaint.

It is if you believe in that type of medicine. Right from Wakey Bakey, till Night Delight. The above cannot be true,
It's actually Allan, Jimmy just lent a big hand.I heard the song Its Five O clock somewhere ? Good old Jimmy.
You too?I am convinced.
Oregon has passed a bill to end daylight savings time, just need Washington and California to go along for it to take effect.

I get spoilt with good food every day, the kids are great, there's a couple kegs of beer in the cellar that I refill with whatever it is I feel like brewing, lots of wine from cherries, some from blueberries, a bit of mead, several sound systems of built from different base ideals that sound very nice around the house.
My wife is even helping me glue together my new speakers!
Is the time adjustment thing my major complaint? No, that is material for other arenas of discussion than this forum. But time adjustments here, to save light somehow. Is completely pointless.
One Body Clock ?????

Last thing I heard many years ago is that Each organ has its own body clock. Nopt always syncronized with the brain clock. So My liver which is dodgy could go to Arizona.(been there and not going back) It is one of the reasons I am diabetic. 😡 but I could not let my brain clock go to Hawaii. So move to Arizona or Hawaii and you won't have that problem.

Or I suppose my answer is the easiest.......pay no attention to the time at all.
My dogs and I are tuned to a natural rhythm.....the wife still has to deal with it for a couple more yrs.
Another pita is we live right on the time zone line between eastern and central, brings a whole different set of issues to the mix!
Stratus, your sense of humor must still be a hour behind?

I always thought it was for energy-saving reasons!? More natural light at the time of day with the highest power consumption! 🙄
Having lived in Hawaii for many years I have to say that no time change = joy.The states of Arizona and Hawaii don’t do it here.
I was not expecting the lack of change to be that nice, but it is. And twice a year you can think "Wow, I'm glad we don't have to do that." Bliss. The only thing Hawaii has to deal with during DST is the change in offset with other places.
It is always 4:20 where I am.
Don't know why...
Someone forgot to wind the clock!
