Thule Audio Components - Overview

IEC Inlet C14 with Mains Switch for Thule Audio "SPIRIT" - Schurter Modell Naming wanted

Maybe in most "SPIRIT" components used IEC inlet (male) from Schurter is the predecessor of this currently version:
https://docs.rs-online.com/58d0/0900766b814422d4.pdf

Who know the exact type designation of Schurter's predecessor ?

Outside images of the asked IEC inlet are in the attachment.
Clearly to see, that no lamp, no fuse and no screw holes are to find.

The images from rear view probably show the exact type designation (close on the "SCHURTER" logo).

here is such an image - unfortunately in high resolution only for members:

Maybe an user do upload such an image here (or Schurter's type No).

Thank you very much.

Hi again.

I have a also have a CD100 (not the Spirit), but the only information on it was on another hi-fi site which shows a very spartan inside, no balanced outputs, and the written description goes on to say that it is fitted with a Burr-Brown PCM1710 DAC chip,

Mine (and yours) obviously have the balanced outputs, and I know mine is fitted with a Crystal Semiconductors DAC chip, twin transformer power supply.

Well the question is; why was the CD100 was made in two completely different configurations, but was never sold as a mkI and mkII.

Many thanks,
Si.
Hi, I have a broken down TR200 of which I can't find anything, not even pictures.
Other than the obvious lack of conversion section components, the inside looks identical to the CD100 you report.
Can you also take pictures of the circuit under the CDM12.4?
In mine there are several radial capacitors placed in a questionable way and I don't know how much they are the result of the manufacturer or perhaps of a subsequent intervention (I bought it used).
Thanks

It's hard to say anything definitive - not having the support of a service manual - but I think the TR200 needs a CDM12.4/05; however it is probable that even among the latter there is a choice between good and less good.
Surely I'm not willing to spend large sums without knowing the outcome of the success; I will try to choose CDM12.4/05 selected for their safe functioning and not items of dubious quality.

Returning to the topic of capacitors, I think the unorthodox placement of standard radial electrolytic capacitors (Samwha RD) in place of the SMD capacitors was done by Thule Audio...here are some photographic details to back up my thesis...

Loudspeaker from Thule Audio ?

I still vaguely remember a Thule Audio loudspeaker from 90th.
Driver equipment from Scan Speak was similar to that of the ProAc model "Response 2,5 - check out
https://www.stereophile.com/content/proac-response-25-loudspeaker-measurements
and PDF files in post #36 under
https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/why-do-proac-2-5-clones-fail.211584/page-2#post-6305900
but the cabinet corresponded more to those of this loudspeaker under

(closed version instead vented version)
I would be interested to know whether these were just a few prototypes or whether this version was also mass-produced.
Thank you very much for an information.
