Threshold S/1000 II Transistors

Hi all,



one of my two Threshold S/1000 Series IIs blew off. 🙁

Short circuit on the - rail, left stage. Does anyone know an address where I can get transistors ? especially the first one in the stage has short circuit,

it is a M 8426 Stasis P.

I believe you'll find answer to that, searching in forum

use ggle advanced search, pointing at diyaudio.com, inmost case it is more effective than using forum search

thanks for your help, have the last few days already much googled in the forum, but nothing found where I can order these. I do not want to rebuild it completely (then I would have the 2nd amp also). But I have now contacted vintageamprepair.net.

first two ones are lesser problem regarding matching (nice to have them matched to adjacent group in other rail) but bummer begins if you need some for big output group

what you mean with "first two", Q20 + Q19 ? Q20 haved the shortage. mean you for "big output group" Q21 to Q38?

"first two" , I meant on positions of first two in OS , being Q19 and Q20 on schm you posted for reference

ideally , Q19 is matched with even numbers group, while Q20 is matched with odd numbers group

though, did they bother with that, only Pa can tell

hopefully he'll chime in, even from Ibiza
