^ Some useful information there.
It's good to have you back. Getting updates with notification emails seems to be an important way to keep in touch with members.

I had a couple of threads marked as ‘watch’ but I do not receive updates anymore for a couple of days now.
The ‘Alerts’-list is constantly empty and I don’t receive email notifications.
Is there a list in my profile where I can see all the threads, I marked as ‘watch’?
Thanks, Boris

Boris, I can see you have been being sent, and successfully delivered, several emails a day on the filter thread, A26 thread, Paradise builders...
But please note the way the forum currently works is you will only be sent 1 email per thread until you actually visit that thread. This is to stop spam overload...
The way the forum used to work is that you received notifications again for all threads you were watching each time you visited the forum all threads would be considered visited.
If you think something else is going on let me know!
There is currently no way to get an email for every single new post in a thread, unless you visit the thread after each email.

In addition to the "slow" forum the past 2 days, now my email notifications are not working. Is the end of the world coming next!! 🤣
Me too with last notification at 12:57 pm EST, so finally rebooted the whole system ~10 min. ago thinking it was Comcast (per usual), but a speed test showed 'all's well' ATM. When opening DIYA I got an 'Oops! problem pop-up telling me I had to accept its cookies, but then cleared, booted up at even slower speeds than before to the point where Dave P10's post link to his site wouldn't load.
It could be that GMail is upgrading / under maintenance.
Yahoo mail is also terrible at times.
And the new site software is erratic, sometimes it decides that since you already logged in and saw the posts, no need for e-mail.
There is a delay, so I read the post, and it shows up in GMail later..sometimes it does not.
Good feature, less posts to manage...

Dunno, no obvious Google/Gmail issues other than this and just now signing on I've got (14) alerts, but none on Gmail plus load times are very slow compared to normally.
Got a huge 'dump' beginning 5:06 pm that went on for several minutes plus got the most current just now, so thanks for the staying on top of it! 👍 😎
I have stopped getting notifications on The 15 Song Album Collection. I then got a 4-day dump. I quite frequently have this problem. Please fix.
This site is hosted by a server farm / hosting company called Cloudflare, and I have noticed that other sites hosted by them are also erratic in loading and response.
I follow a group of movement disorder specialists, who have a significant role in the mangement of Parkinson's Disease, my Mom suffers from it.
Their site is also a bit of hit and miss, just like this one.
That could be part of the reason.
Another is that some sites charge more for higher data speeds, this one may be on a lower tariff bracket, but that is speculation on my part.

My wife has Parkinson's. What is the name of the site, please?I follow a group of movement disorder specialists, who have a significant role in the mangement of Parkinson's Disease
@jaxboy: It is the Movement Disorders Society of India, and you could do a search for it.
I am sure there are similar groups in other countries as well.
I have found some doctors are very casual in their approach, so a second opinion is at times beneficial.
In India, a Neurologist has at least 11.5 years of medical school and training, so you are dealing with some very intelligent people, medical school admissions are about 1 in 10,000 applicants here.
A movement disorder specialist is a Neurologist who has gone through special training during the Neurology course in medical scholl, off hand I think we have less than 500 in my populous country. They are worth finding, they are experienced...
If you need help dealing with the disease, please mail me at metplast -at-the-rate-gmil, and mention the topic in the subject line.
That is my mail id, posted because this site is slow to load, it has taken 5 minutes to start editing this post.
If you do so, please mention your name here, so I can connect things.
There is a deliberate mistake above, you need to compensate, just to deter some people who are on my ignore list, and casual spammers.

NareshBrd,
Thank you so much for the lead and the offer of help. I will look them up, as well as looking here in the US. Is their site in English? I and she have a good neurologist, and I have used the neurosurgeon for 3 surgeries with very good results.
