I guess I'm lucky. I have no savings. No pension. Minimal social safety net. When you don't have a choice to retire to keep working till you drop is THE alternative. Its the Navarre way!
Same here. No savings, living on welfare, no medicare beyond whatever the government deems to be worthwhile (you've gotta be lucky to get dental work done), and they're chipping away at those so I'm not expecting to be on welfare in 10 years time. So I look for jobs. (that they'll pay me below minimum wage for)
I can guarantee you that if my mum and dad both died tomorrow that I would be out on the street. I won't go back to the government housing where you get broken into and have to put up with the neighbours breaking up for the 4th time this week.
And the heroin needles stuck in the lawn out the front of your place.
And the people trying to set the place on fire.
And the stabbings of people bleeding on your front porch begging you to call the ambulance for them.
And the broken walls, smashed windows.
And the chain smokers who smoke outside your back door. (Your friendly neighbour)
And the people lifting your door handles of your car every night because they're trying to get cigarettes/loose money.
And the endless drunk parties at 3AM where everyone and their friends come to.
And the endless burnouts and high speed cop chases with fatalities that knock out your power lines. (Leaving you in the dark with all the crazies)
They raised the retirement age to 75 years here, so no retirement for anyone, I'm sure the great majority will be dead by the time they are 75 with the way that our diets are going.
Might be a good idea to start practicing living like a nomad or homeless person. Minimalist lifestyle etc.

Move to Russia, retire at 60.
(provided you didn't check yourself out earlier on the government subsidised sugar equivalent at $10/ltr)

Ah I get it now. it took a while.
No I would never go to that or any other communist country, I hate being told what to do on here let alone anywhere else.
Fat, alcohol, I want to talk about drugs. Drugs that kill. There's an excess in everything. Too much it's just too much.

What if I told you that there is an entire forum dedicated to the miracles of a certain over the counter drug which is really really popular, but it causes brain damage. And all of these people who are fanatic about this drug are delusional over it. But the drug has no addictive potential.
Maybe you can guess what it is. Starts with a C.

So, would you like a schmoke and a pancake or not ?
A bong and a blini if you want, what do I care.

A pancake sounds nice. Not so much for the cannabis.
The answer was Caffeine btw.
Well you've got to be addicted to something, that's the exciting part. Whatever gets your creative juices flowing, like they say. By the way, the creative juices stop flowing real easy if you overdo it so you have to keep it steady and on track.

Best post I read today.

What's this nonsense? Who wrote this? Wait there's more.
Too much it's just too much.
Is this guy on drugs?
He should become a Frito Pendejo, and get a latte at Starbucks.

Bob aims high and....misses the mark. Ohhhh. A round of applause for Bob. Who's next?
Ah, not the first time I've been missing the shot. 😀 ...I should have aimed below the belt. 😀
Álvaro, are you retired?
