Im using the Hifonics Gemini 4 x 50 watts to drive a pair of 8 inch Infinity speakers , the Punch 225.2 drives a logitech Z560 8 inch band pass box from a Z560 system that the amp burn out. the Hifonics still have 2 unused channels until i can find a set of quality speakers at my favor driftstore . i paid $30 for the Infinity speakers. The Marantz 6000 DC amp am/fm reciver "$30.00" is not being used but it sounds very strong and clean "i need more speakers and a EQ so i can drive the mobil amps with the Marantz the Marantz only have a fix value output so i need a EQ with a volume control . I also have another Logitech Z-2300 2 1/2 speaker that was driving the Infinity speakers very loud and clean after the original satellite burn out, if i turn both on the bass is quite strong but the punch 225. 2 driven one is much stronger "i can blow up the original logitech 8 inch sub speaker at will . But those logitech subs are very well design and very efficient for they'r size. You might want check 1 of this logitech boxes if you ever run into 1 very cheap or with a burnt out built in amp.

About the SOLO X18 ......are you crazy lol . Are you trying to reproduce thunder while playing Riders of the Storm by the Doors? . good choice, the autotek 333 can also do the job if you find 1 . Nice pictures !... i lost my Nikon digital camera "pictures well have to wait" . I stuck both amps and power supply in a full tower chieftech computer case i had laying around the cooling is done by 5 x 120 mm PC case fans . "it well never get even warm" .

Hi, 70s music Love the older Autotek amps. Built really strong and very reliable. I have never had any products from Logitech but I will check them out.
Your present system sounds pretty good and at a good price.

I think the secret is that funny S shape VENT TUBE in those logictech . but if you read reviews about the logitech system you well see that everyone agree and raves about how strong the wall shaking base sounds "read it at tigerdirect or newegg , ETC ETC , everyone agrees the thing specially the base sounds like a system costing far more . The 8 inch sounds like bomb ,.. the 10 inch model like a hydrogen bomb , the built in amp does put out some very true RMS WATTS.

At the moment I am upgrading the Phonocar 6 1/2 inch subs that are pictured in the bottom of the boxes to 2 JL 8W subs. I am sure this will sound a hell of alot better than the Phonocars. I will just have to take the boxes apart again to cut the holes bigger. Picture will follow as soon as it is done.

The power supply design in the Z-5500 has a large toroidal transformer with two 10,000 µF capacitors to store energy for the power amplifier rails. This is something that one might see in a more expensive product, but is certainly not typical in a PC-based speaker system. We must commend Logitech for using such a hearty power supply design in this system. THE Z-560 AND Z-680 were replace by the Z-5500 they all used the same type of power supply, not that you need any after all your 240 amp is more than enough. Again if you bump into a cheap used one you wont regreat to buying it.
Looks really like quality built box. Maybe I will try one for my PC, just for fun. For the living room, I need something that is just insane!!!

By the way any price creative sound card is better than the inboard sound card in most pc . You dont need this top of the line sound card the $60.00 range creative sound cards sound almost as good. the plus side is it does free your CPU . make sure you disable your motherboard inboard sound.. that way your CPU is not wasting resources.
Americans typical big city are big . traffic alone makes you waste gasoline compound that with people who still loves big SUV and trucks with Big V-8 engines and the blessing becomes a night mare , fill a 20 to 30 gallon tank at $3.00 per gallon and people start to jump off the Empire State Building . $20.00 buys six gallons, My ex jetski a Yamaha 1100 cc 3 cyilinder two stroke had a 15 gallon tank plus i would normally carry 10 gallons extra . in a smooth fresh water lake you could keep that jetski at 64 MPH.. in 4@5 hours you could burn all 25 gallons. That was back in 1998 Premium gas was slight over a dollar. "yes we used premium in our toys" Motorcyles sportbikes ETC ETC . The car only was feed with 99 cent regular gas. This days im looking for a scooter or a used japanase motorcycle or a german BMW motorcycle with sidecar and a mounted MG 42 MACHINE GUN SO I CAN SHOOT UP THE GAS STATION.
