Its like my dreams come true.. I was so damnly worried about short protection or load protection circuit for DX.. It is very nice to hear my uncle charly is thinking of it 🙂
I tried Quasi's amp with an SMPS to make a mobile amp (one of my dreams is to build a mobile amp for vehicles) but still without a short protection.. and the SMPS I copied it from another thread (power supply for quasi's amp as i remember) and changed it according to my requirements.. I have the schematic which is by Alex mm 🙂 may be the same power supply can be arranged for DX with a little modification (just an idea..)
My next plan is to build stereo mobile amplifier using DX 🙂 .. i'm worried about the size.. hahahahaha

I will, one day, produce short protection, speaker insertion delay, Dc voltage detection in the output...well, all these things....and because "DIY market pressure on me".... in the reality, i would prefere an amplifier so huge, with so big heatsink that can manage a continuous short circuit, overheating alike an oven, cooking eggs over the heatsink and able to fried steaks too...and without burn...and this happpens using several transistors and big heatsinks...that's what i would like...but this is expensive, not good for DIY market (builders) and not good to sale in the future to the wide world market.
I am not too much interested in profit, i do not think this brings happyness, nor too much pleasure too..i was wealthy, travelling whole world...money was not a problem to me.... but was not happy... since i decide to give a hand to others i felt good..really good.
To have millions of amplifiers, one unit each home, wide world (big target...i can have Dx amplifier in PC speakers, home theaters and so on.... to to that i will need to enter to the "system".... i am trying DIY, for free, in foruns....but quantity is not the one i was dreaming...to increase the quantity i have to produce boards to make builders life easier...and believe me, this is a problem, because customs..... my country bureaucracy is creating some troubles.
I had Nico Daneel producing boards...but i think he had not time to start the whole thing..i suppose a disease made him disappear.....or he is the Chinese one that is seeling a lot of Dx Amplifiers..ahahahahha!...i would be happy if Nico was behind that.
You know, i think Audio Divine Protector, the God of electrons, does not want me to do.... really because i will make so good, so huge, that no one will be able to beat, sacrificing profit to make the best...then this will kill enormous ammount of competitors...not very good...as i do not want to enter the "system" to be rich, but to provide the best.
I am not the best, but i want the best, so i am collecting ideas and designs from the best designers and put them together...so.... i have their inspiration and their knowledge to help me to do the best, even not beeing the best....observe.... my inspiration in my last amplifier.... Hugh Dean and Douglas Self..heheheheheh...unbeatable match!
The one had the desire to make automobiles using aluminium could not make it...as this was an amenace, a trouble to the big International Corporations... a car that would never be destroyed by weather...lasting for life long...also some brazilians found a method to use water as a fuel..... big Corporation bougth and destroyed all plans about..bougth to silent him...you know..enormous Oil companies.

no doubt you can short speaker lines of DX.. or DHR .. I already replaced my transformer once.. hahahahaha Its a super reliable amplifier that i have never seen before.. but still you need a DC protection to protect speakers. don't you ??? 😕

I think i have some schematic with PCB about Three stage Protection, soft start,DC protection and fan trigger. if u like i can post them. the circuit is based on a logic chip...

I have selected from a Book...people is preparing boards as i said...page 258, book Electricity and Electronics...by Randy B. Slone...also i found this one, modified by a Brazilian that seems good, or even better.
If I have to adjust a lot, and change a lot, that schematic mentioned, to force it to operate, to, or to work properly, then will be Naturalized Brazilian and incorporated in the Dx Corporation... and this depends how many parts will be changed/adjusted, and how hard work will be done to make it work perfectly....maybe nothing will be needed..then will not be a Dx design, nor a Dx style, Dx version or anything alike.... will be by appointment only.
This is not my priority, as fuses can do the job too...so, it seems to be a sophistication that we can live without it...it is in the third place in my list.

just a little question uncle carlos, Is it possible to design an amplifier that will kill the mid frequency but boost the bass and high frequency?

I have a same kind of question... is it possible to kill mid and highs without affecting to low frequencies in an amp excluding any passive or active filters ?? and can I try it with feedback capacitor ?? In which stage normally can we limit the bandwith of an amp (in DX, if and only u like/allow us to do experiments)??
As I know all good full range amps like DX are liner.. meaning all mid low and highs are balance. correct me if isn't true.
(please somebody tell me in which category i should ask these kind of questions in this forum, if this is off topic)

This one was made to give you huge bass...enormous power.
Audio quality, say, special sonics was not the target, was not the objective, not the focus..... because an accident of the destiny, also sounded fine.

by the way, regarding zobel network, replacing the values of resistor or capacitor will greatly affect the sonic?
Yes, power depends the supply voltage, amplifier circuit produces
a very small difference..we can say they are the same related power.
No!...the replacement of zobel values does not change sonics.
