Surprisingly, my IEEE evaluations from the grad students I taught were overwhelmingly positive. But the material was different, there was a hardcopy textbook, and I presented about 20 lectures in addition to preparing homework assignments and written exams. That may not be the kind of teaching you are referring to.

Can I ask, as members have written "1 board set" does this include the 2 off Melbourne daughter boards along with the 3 different volume pot boards, with the larger mother board?

Also when will you have a BOM ready to list?

Hi Gary S,

A Yarra board includes all 6 sub-boards (PSU, main amp, input selector, and 3x volume pot boards). Someone added the word "board set" which just refers to the 6.

However, it does not include the Melbourne DB. Should you want one, I can add them to your order for no extra cost to shipping at the usual Melbourne GB price of $10ea. Just indicate number of Mebourne DB's you would like.

For example:

DIYA_JohnDoe - 1 Yarra, 2 Melbourne - AUS

I hope that clarifies things.

Builders find printed board assembly dimensions.


Don´t forget, no wires using Micro-maTch cable assemblies (available at Mouser): Micro-maTch in Cable Assemblies | TE Connectivity



SketchUp files (using HIFI2000 1U enclosure) are too big (66MB) and I don´t know how to send it?!

First the bottom plate HIFI2000 Galaxy GX343 (10mm front; 2mm panels).
Then power supply part (using 5mm spacer and don´t forget to foil isolate bottom panel from the main power section).
Then preamplifier part.
Connect both together using Micro-maTch cable assembly.
Mounting potentiometer board of your choice.
Mounting side panels.

Rear panel.
IO board and connect potentiometer board using Micro-maTch cable assembly.
Mounting axis and knobs.
Finishing with top plate.
Enjoy.

Yesterday I recommend again Schaffner FN 9244B RF/EMI inlet filter (B = medical) in other forum/thread.
