I will not defend blair witch. It was poor as well. In fact , it was worse than most movies that I can think of over here. You guys are just lucky you don't have Adam Sandler over there.
Sadly, we do! I just don't watch them but if the trailers as usual show the best bits they must be really, really poor.
I didn't think that Bruce Campbell could make a worse movie than his usual offerings, but "My Name is Bruce" sets a new standard for the lowest of the low.
The only redeeming quality this pile of nonsense has is Grace Thorsen as the leading lady.

It's funny and tragic and should be compulsory viewing in schools because it is the best anti-heroin advert ever made.
I think Requiem for a Dream was a much better anti Heroin movie than Trainspotting. RFAD is on my top 10 for sure....and it has a young (and in the buff) beautiful Jennifer Connely in it. YUM. Shocking in all respects - discretion is advised with young adults...

Only goes to show how different tastes are:
While I think Blair Witch was unbelievably tedious and boring without even the slightest hint of creepiness/scariness I also think that Trainspotting is very, very good indeed.

Gotta agree about Trainspotting, I thought it was a great movie about a very difficult and unpleasant subject. I found it horrific and compelling all at the same time. I will admit though that I have had no urge to ever watch it again.
Was suffering from a bit of insomnia a few nights ago so was watching a late nite TV movie - a piece of dreck called "Above and Beyond" - a WW2 thing about the Royal Canadian Airforce, and flying Hudson aircraft from Newfoundland to the UK (hence dodging the Uboats). Apart from the fact that their Winston Churchill did not look even slightly like the real deal, I finally gave up and went to bed after seeing a shot of some chap working on a piece of aviation related electronic equipment that clearly had 3 TO3 transistors on it (so clear you could almost read the numbering).
A decade before Brittain, Bardeen and Shockley. Sheesh!!!!

Those were probably shields for the acorn tubes.
I've alway suspected those Canadians were part of an advanced civilization.
Oh, you don't know the half of it. We're working on a new version of the Canadarm, the Canadarm II, eh...
It'll use "Surface-Mount Technology". With a Micro-processor, pretty neat eh?
Seriously, that person who complained about "The Beach", uhh, oh nothing, I just realized that movie did suck.

tomtt: Who is the actress? My Old-Age offspring's user guide (I am paying for (both)) was able to blur out the face. The lower half was visible though! E
