I will publish the Order Form spreadsheet in the next post, only a few clarifications.

The prices of the finished boards are a little higher than what was announced because we have to manually solder some parts (see BOMs for semi-finished boards).
We are looking for assembly service but since the quantities are very small there is no chance to lower the final prices.
And there are also some tax reasons that make the final cost higher.

We are not professionals and we have no commercial interest to start this GB, we are sharing our design with the audio community, so that members can get very good or state of the art devices at affordable prices.
But as I said I'm not Santa Claus, the development of the proposed boards has taken very long time and mostly it required the investment of a lot of money (many thousands of Euro excluding the instruments).
Therefore we believe it is correct to recover at least in part the money we have spent for the countless iterations that we had to do to get the results we have achieved.

Since I'm the owner of a company (although it's not a audio company) my fiscal consultant told me that I have to manage this GB within my company.

Unbelievable work and well done!

With so many posts it has diluted what is needed to understand what you need to make a purchase, not sure if others feel the same. I am at a loss what to order.

If someone could summaries I am sure it would benefit many and increases the sales too.

GB Order form

I attach the Order Form to be filled, it includes all old and new items that are part of the incoming GB.

Prices are intended excluding:
- 22% VAT where applicable (EU customers without valid EU VAT ID)
- shipping & insurance

Available payment methods are:
- Paypal
- Bank Transfer

The items will be shipped by SDA or DHL, the cheaper option will be chosen.
The shipping cost will be calculated and added in the Order Confirmation according to the weight of the ordered items.
The shipping insurance is an option in case of Bank Transfer payment (anyway suggested, we are not responsible of lost packages), while it's requested in case of Paypal payment.

VAT will be calculated and added in the Order Confirmation for EU customers without a valid VAT ID.

The specified MOQs in the Order Form are intended as the minimum quantity to be reached for each items (not for a single customer).

Please, fill the Order Form and send it to e-mail address indicated.

I will start collecting the orders to understand what items meet the MOQ.
The items that will not meet the MOQ will be cancelled from the orders.
Then I will send the proforma invoice and the payment request.

The delivery time is mainly affected by the crystals manufacturer lead time, at least 6-8 weeks.

Please, as soon you have sent the order I ask you to update the interest list with the ordered items, so other members can understand what items are reaching the MOQ.

Amazing amount of work just producing the forms and summary, never mind the slight matter of SOTA clock R&D!

I wanted to confirm - what is the highest performance solution if someone needs all of the following frequencies:5.6448, 6.144, 11.2896, 12.288, 22.5792, 24.576 with logic level output.

(assuming I handle switching and power supplies and soldering semi finished boards etc myself)

Would it be:

one 5.6448 MHz SC-cut Laptech crystal 3rd overtone SC-cut HC-47/U

one 6.1440 MHz SC-cut Laptech crystal 3rd overtone SC-cut HC-47/U

two Driscoll oscillators: TWTMC-DRIXO-SF

two multipliers: TWTMC-DBM-SF in series, switching output of one of the 2 oscillators to the input

two transformer kits: TWTMC-DRIXO-XFMR 5-12 MHz

two multiplier transformer kits TWTMC-DBM-XFMR

Anything else needed? Sine to square converters to produce logic level output?

Would your regs boards have good transcients for feeding also a dac chips or some analogic stages please ? Maybe people could purchase more regs from you for their other projects for you to fil a little more the gap your R&D costed ??? Modest idea, but why not.?!

Just realised the multipliers are specific to individual frequencies 4 multipliers required - I also somehow missed some bits of information elsewhere on relative performance. Please ignore the above while I double check my homework... it seems that if I use base frequencies of 11/12 Mhz I can have one multiplier for each and divide by 2 externally at hopefully minor loss in performance but quite a saving on crystals and boards... will have a think...

HELP! I am completely lost! I just want a good clock for my DAC, but I have no idea how to choose the right boards and parts, and how they combine.

There are many people out there who would like to buy a super-duper clock for their DAC from you, but they don't know what to buy and how to use it (me included). If you want to make up for your investments, it would be useful (for you!) to help these people out!

PLEASE provide a document that describes all the different units and parts, and how they go together. What is the function of each unit? Which units are mandatory, which are optional? How are these things integrated into an existing DAC oder CD player? Some real-world examples based on some well-known DACs would also be very useful. Don't use obscure abbreviations and "names" that have no meaning to newcomers (or at least define/explain those terms).

This documentation should all go into ONE document, not several posts scattered around this (and other) threads. Add this document to the first post of this thread so that people can find it.

The Well Tempered Master Clock - Building a low phase noise/jitter crystal oscillator

The above posts explain all the features of each device so you only have to choose the right frequencies for your application.

I have published the phase noise plots of each device therefore you can make your choice according to performance and prices, in the same way you would choose a Crystek or Ndk oscillator.

Your configuration is fine, but as I said, since I have published the phase noise plots of each device you can make your choice according to performance and prices.

Usually you need the sine to square converters for third party applications.
You don't need the squarer if you are planning to use our new FIFOs because they have the sine to square converters on board.

I would suggest the TWRPS-pp push-pull regulator for other applications like DAC and so on because it's capable to source and sink current and provvides more current.

Ok, I will try to publish a document containing all the infos as soon as possible, but keep in mind that I cannot cover all DACs and other applications.

In other words, I can explain as simpler as possible how these devices work and how to combine them to get a certain frequency, but I cannot choose the frequencies for you.
I believe you can find all the infos about the frequencies you need in the DAC datasheet (old multibit and modern delta-sigma) and in the info document of thirdy part applications like Ian's FIFO and so on.
Moreover I will revise alla the order form I receive to correct any errors.

Anyway, both our new discrete DACs (Lite and Top versions) will only work with 5.6448 and 6.144 MHz.
And since they use a custom protocol both will only work with the new FIFO (Lite and Top versions).
