Now, remember, I said, if you let 7n troll you, then I'll start posting Randy Mills's stuff.🙄
What was I saying? Village Voice article from 1999, "within the next year", yawn. And there's not even a global conspiracy out to stifle him.

I know. But he's more fun than the tiresome stuff 7n posts😀
Never a good idea to feed a troll cuz it attracts more😉
Gold
I had a chain e-mail that said time distortion was occurring in Switzerland due to all the Nazi gold spoiling the experiment ( LHC ) . I think it was a joke .... I certainly laughed out loud ..

I was horrified . I laughed because it was the right joke to make . Someone had the guts to say it . I didn't say it let's be clear .
What is horrifying is there are three classes of people. Hose who laugh, those who believe, and those who are insulted.
Only three? What a bore. Is this the thread where some people were feeling nostalgic about Britain's former glory? Good films? I can recommend this one.

Great film- but all the Guinness rank comedies were terrific.
Originally I think it was Ealing and then Elstree studios. If you ever can find Barnacle Bill you will enjoy it. To me one of the last and best in some ways "little guy vs the establishment" Brit comedies.
Yeah, the ones I remember (Lavender Hill, Ladykillers, Our Man in Havana, Man in the White Suit...) were Ealing, but they all had the Rank gong at the beginning. I've somehow missed Barnacle Bill, must remedy that...

Last night I watched Man in the White Suit, despite being about the life of a chemist it turned out to be pretty entertaining .

Similarly, "It Happens Every Spring." This movie will be totally non-understandable for Europeans, but Americans and Japanese will enjoy.

I think Rank just absorbed everyone, something about a film that starts with banging a gong.
There was a UHF station (70's) that showed Brit films because they were cheap (some probably without copyright renewal in the US), I have not seen some listed by any of the major studios. There was one about char women taking over the financial markets by reading their bosses trash, hillarious.
